To Teach a Child

There are so many things to teach a child, but I think the saddest one for me to teach my daughter is to love herself. It is sad that we live in a world that feeling comfortable in your own skin isn’t a normalcy and I don’t want my daughter to ever skip a meal or think about how skinny she could be if she could make herself puke. It’s a strange thing, to teach a child to love themselves when you’ve just managed to accept yourself.
