picassoâs line work is so interesting. the way following a line guides your eye to help you find some meaning in these. i love how the pitcher radiates such a white light paired with that yellow line that drapes down and cuts through the skull making you examine the flailed out leek with its tentacle like body, leading you right back into that spiral design in the pitcher
Seeing this in person was nuts. The way the blue in his hands & feet fade in as you walk closer to the painting. the ways you truly truly notice the flecks of blood and how much it pops off the canvas when looking at it from certain angles; still so brightly red. to how luminous his head feels when youâre standing right below him. to the BLOOD SHIMMERING ON HIS BODY HAIR. Very evocative painting of the pain jesus was going through before they finally crucified him. spectacular work by Pieter de Grebber
Fantastic. i went back 3 separate times to stare at this painting for 15 minutes, changing the distance and angle at which i was viewing it every 5.
the colors and brushstrokes in this are just wondrous. from the comforting warm rug with its reds, navys, dark greens, and oranges
to the STUNNING and ELEGANT clothing! with the shiny gold and whites and ivory.
i wish i had a ladder to examine every detail above as well.
i cannot believe this fucking thing
Thatâs not how you talk to someone you love.

AND I GROW SO JEALOUS OF ANY STRANGER WHO MAY SEE YOUR EYES BY CHANCE AND FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM. BUT I LOVE YOUR EYESâNO, YOUR BEAUTIFUL EVERYTHING, MORE THAN ANYONE EVER COULD. NO LOVE COULD COMPARE. HOW DEEPLY I WANT SWIM IN YOU. HOW MUCH I WANT TO FEEL YOU. HOW CLOSE I WANT TO BE TO YOU, ALWAYS. SINCE THE START, NO OTHER LOVE COULD COMPARE. FROM THE BEGINNING, I LOVE YOU
âThe Cheapside Hoard c. 1600. A hoard of jewellery found under a house in Cheapside in 1912. Presumably the stock-in-trade of a local jeweller.â
