Red Skelton mural, Vincennes, IN - Had to snap a pic because almost exactly 15 years ago, I stayed at the Amargosa Opera House hotel in Death Valley and booked the room named in honor of Red Skelton, since he stayed there many times over the years, and it seemed appropriate to pay homage to fellow Hoosier. Completely underestimated how unsettling it'd be to have circus performers and acrobats painted on the floors and ceilings as I tried to sleep. The Red Skelton museum here was closed and undergoing some renovation work.
