schroeder felton highschool/college headcanons to go along with the moodboard i made!!
During exam months, schroeder would often find himself in a complete slump, unable to even drag himself over to his piano.
Don’t get it wrong, he’s an awfully smart kid, but his energy has been drained all into being “perfect” academically that the sight of his old piano just causes him to sigh.
But, like always, he regains his true love for the piano after exams are finally over!
He often catches himself doodling sketches of beethoven on his schoolwork, any of his art projects being music-based aswell.
One of his best pieces of work was a hand sculpted beethoven bust made out of air dry clay.
Schroeder and Charlie keep in touch often, calling eachother a couple times a week and reminiscing on their elementary school selves.
In High School, Schroeder had about a year long period where he had regained his crush on Lucy, this time much bigger.
I’m talking carrying her bags for her and walking her to every one of her classes.
But obviously, he would deny any and all claims and say “i’m just a gentleman”.
College Schroeder is an extremely burnt out loser.
He decides to let loose a little, why would he spend another 4 years being perfect and proper?
He tries going to parties, drinking, maybe even a line or two (it’s the 70s/80s, what can you do?)
After a big incident at one party (consisting of him blacking out in the host’s dorm bathtub), he decides he shouldn’t associate himself with anything, and eventually gets sober
