I was in quarantine for 14 days like the most of us. The difference was, I had traveled back home and was a risk to my family. So I was stuck in a makeshift room, barely fit for studying. The tight space was where I worked, played, ate and slept. In the series, I studied the moulding of some mandarins. This idea came to me as I stored away a mandarin in a cupboard for a few days only to find it had moulded by the time I was ready to eat it. The irony of the situation mimicked the way countries have seen the virus, from a distance it seemed localised to one area however by the time countries realised its severity it was often times too late.
