Meet Maroon!

I’m not going to write everything here again, so if you want more info revolving the backstory, go to my Banana post. But long story short, the alien using Maroon as a host is responsible for the deaths of two of the original crewmates, Maroon and Banana, who were stationed to go to Polis, the aliens now inhabit.

I’ve talked about Banana already, so as for Maroon, they and Banana were originally good buddies when they were both crewmates. Maroon dabbles in a little bit of everything revolving functionality on the ship they’re on and is very particular on how things are done and like to stick to plans, schedules and all that. Whenever something unexpected or unwanted happens, Maroon gets pretty angry, so MIRA hired Banana to help figure out why unexpected outcomes occur at times and to help find solutions. Because of this, Banana and Maroon work pretty close to one another and became really good friends.

After the event resulting and Banana’s death, Maroon brought the now Imp Banana, which they doesn’t know is the case, to Medbay to make sure they’re alright, which is where the second alien then kills and takes over Maroons body.

Now, instead of having a positive relationship with one another like their crewmate counterparts did, now Banana and Maroon have a toxic, emotionally abusive one, with Maroon being the abuser as he sees Banana as a waste of an alien due to them being defective and “soft” towards the crew.

In relevance to the show, similar to Green, Maroon loves to kill, however they don’t mind the idea of hatching more aliens and would’ve done so if Red and Purple didn’t show up and informed the crewmates on Polis of the Ore+ being alien eggs, resulting in everyone throwing the eggs into the lava.

And as alluded to in Banana’s post, Maroon is the imposter who killed Banana and left their body out in the open on Polis.

Liked the Among Us show so much that I decided to make an OC!

Meet Banana!

Banana was with a crew stationed to go to Polis by MIRA.

During the trip, two aliens hatched from the Ore+ on the ship, one of which cut the O2 and sabotaged the doors to communications (I know you can’t do that in game, but whatever) where Banana was located.

Without proper ventilation and no air tanks in comms, Banana died to hypoxia, which the rest of his crew didn’t know of, during which, the alien who didn’t do the sabotages found Banana’s body and used it as a host.

When found by the rest of the crew, they were extremely worried for Banana, not knowing they were now an imposter.

After a while, Banana grew fond of the crew, not wanting to hurt them, however, they’re alien buddy might not give them much of a choice…

As stated, Banana is a shapeshifter, however, they’re a defective one. They can’t keep a form that isn’t Banana’s intact for extended periods of time.

In relevance to the show, I imagine that they would be caught by Purple, explain themselves, and once a few of their crewmates come to see the commotion, the other imposter would have a tentacle come out of a hole/vent, stab them, and drag them down, discarding their dead body somewhere on Polis.
