Okay, so I needed to take a break from the "Mini Champions" project to maintain my hyperfocus and...

Appreciate the fact that Diantha is now canonically a mom!

And here, according to my AU TwT:

About my AU:

Sycamore and Diantha are still a couple.

The reason they weren't supposed to get married is because the relationship could be seen as one of convenience, which would tarnish the image of both of them (and especially the Pokémon League).

Diantha was already pregnant during the events of XY, but she and Sycamore kept it a secret from the media and certain people in Galar while trying to prove that their relationship wasn't one of convenience.

During the fifth month (after the events of XY), Diantha and Sycamore went to Sinnoh so that Diantha wouldn't suffer so much media exposure.

Diantha and Sycamore only officially and legally married shortly before she became pregnant again (Daryan my Fanchild), when Ansha was already four years old (She's five years old in Legends ZA).

Fun facts:

Leany was born in Viridian City on the eve of May 27th, on a rainy night. Lance had to deliver the baby (he was already prepared for this possibility).

He used to be a grumpy baby, but as he grew up, he became a ball of energy and chaos.

His name is a tribute to his paternal grandmother, Liana.

He has an irrational fear of Fairy-type Pokémon.

He is quite rebellious towards his aunt and uncle, Celeste and Caleo (Cynthia's twins), but he adores his uncle Daevyan (Clair's boyfriend).

He hates Poké Balls because when he and Larvitar (Rocky) "accidentally" broke the TV at home, Lance trapped Larvitar in a Poké Ball as punishment.

He is left-handed.

As I mentioned in another post, I finally started the "The Mini Champions" project (after a long time...), and I ended up forgetting the order in which I was going to post about the babies, but here's a preview of what's to come :3

Daryan Ballouhey Sycamore 🎨 (1/4)

Fun Facts:

Daryan was born at 35 weeks, on November 3rd, after a long and complicated labor.

He loves to draw and always carries a sketchbook.

His favorite holiday is Halloween, as it's the perfect excuse for Diantha to let him eat as much candy as he wants.

Although Sycamore is retired as a regional professor, he still visits the lab from time to time to see Mable (who has become like a "daughter" to him) and teach Daryan about Pokémon.

Until he was 2 years old, nobody in Kalos knew of Daryan's existence, as Diantha didn't want to expose him to media pressure.

The Pawniard (Carve) hatched from an egg that came directly from Unova, which Mable was studying for research with the other regional professors, and he accidentally hatched it.

He was born 1 year before ZA events (just like the other Mini Champions).
