Player left for Kalos' central city because Diantha got word from Callum/Serena regarding the events of rampant Mega evolution - who heard about it from Korrina who heard from AZ - they are assisting, as they are the current Champion but they are more frequently tied up with Emma and Mimi regarding the more troubling case of Zygarde's 10% form as they caught the 50% version "a few years back".
Look, Jacinthe knew the Player was coming and intended for them to stay there but Urbain/Taunie pulled them into Hotel Z. And Player is reluctant to be there - often calling out them out or avoiding dinner time in favor of going to Hotel Richissime despite Jacinthe annoying them as it was better than being around Hotel Z.
Player entrusted Ansha with Hoopa, to keep her safe, should the pairs mother be unable to do so if anyone discovered the genie.
So the dlc is basically the two sibs making donuts together and goofing off while doing it as they - again reluctantly - help Team MZ. Mainly for Ansha because she likes them.
