“unfortunately,” daisy agreed, watching hope’s reactions grow more cautious and the blonde laughed softly, “don’t worry about it, it’s part of being a semi-adult in this place and actually taking responsibility for things like that and not just repeatedly saving the world,” she teased lightly, “can’t say we did a ton of saving the world when we were kids, but we used to break into the storage cupboards for ingredients for stink bombs ahead of meets with mystic falls high,” daisy admitted, smiling fondly at the memory of their misbehaviours. she listened to hope carefully, patiently, shaking her head, “it’s not just cleaning, i’m helping out with teaching and all that, and you kind of start looking after the younger kids automatically,” she smiled, “and i get the time to work on more advanced magic with pretty much any resource i’d need on hand.”
“Right, right.” Hope had her share of the saving and occasionally the cleaning, though now one seemed to be more on hold than the other. No one knew how to fix what they’d lost, and it irked her. But she laughed at the stink bombs, remembering all too well. “As someone who has attended both schools in the middle of sports seasons, we definitely take the win on pranks I think. That one year they charmed the toilet paper they threw at the high school to stick, took them four days to get it all down.” Not sure how they’d explained that one away but, bless Mayor Donovan. Daisy described her job, and for a moment she wondered if that’s what she’d end up doing too. Sticking around, delving deeper into her own magic while she still had it. “Well i’m glad you’re here, it’s nice having you guys around.”
