That afternoon Tate found himself inside the cave north of Mossdeep City; Shoal Cave. He had heard rumors about the cave, and how there was a huge frozen rock at the bottom of the cave.
Of course, getting there was a challenge. There had been some problems. The young boy was lost, the waterās tide was growing, and his Solrock was down to its last bit of HP.
Tate knew he wasnāt going to make it to the bottom in time, so he started to head back. This was a good idea, until a huge wave swept him up and carried him under the current. āS-Solrock!ā He screamed telepathically. "H-Help!ā He knew the Pokemon was weak against the water, but Tate had no other way to get back to the surface.
The Solrock quickly created a psychic bubble around its trainer and levitated the boy to the nearest shallow area. Tate was out of breath and trying his best to stay conscious, which wasnāt long.
Before passing out, he saw the figure of an older boy. āH-Help.ā He said in his last breath before passing out.
