Next up we have these guys stright out of Long Island, NYC bitches!!

Imagine if you will, Matchbook Romance serenades over Memphis May Fire guitars and story-telling epicness like Pierce The Veil... and you have yourself Life As A Ghost!

We're going to be watching this band with a close eye - they should be huge.

Mureau - California

We've been terrible. There hasn't been an update on here in ages! Between venturing back to LA, booking the most exciting tour of 2012 and getting started on some serious hype, our My Summer Tumblr has suffered.

So, I'm about to blast all you lovely people with the best of the best we've heard this past month!

First up is Mureau - signed to the incredible Mediaskare Records. This track will leave you gagging for a chance to prance around Venice Beach in your hotpants and mankini's.

In Hearts Wake - 'The Night Is For Hunting'

Well well well. We at My Summer started this blog mainly to promote Aussie artists to the UK market. We firmly believe in the Australian Invasion, and recently, our predictions appear to be occurring!

One of the first bands we ever took a shine to were In Hearts Wake, and this is their latest video. They also do an awesome cover of Chris Brown, no word of a lie.

Scroobius Pip ft. Sage Francis & P.O.S - Let em Come

This track is from Pip's recent release 'Distraction Pieces' - also appearing on the album is Travis Barker, Milla Jovovich, production from the likes of Zane Lowe and even a song written by Kate Bush. What a mix!

The result is an overall stellar record - and a number of banging tracks, particularly this one. The women starring in the viedo are the sisters of each. Tattoo'd to fuck and behaving like a boss. Enjoy!

Joia - 'Brothers'

Fronted by ex-Consort with Romeo vocalist Athina Andrelos and featuring previous members of Farwell City this is the first video from Joia… and this band are bringing something entirely new to the UK music scene.

Without drawing comparisons or likening the band to the predictability of Paramore or other generic female fronted alternative bands, Joia slot into a more mature combination of pop- meets-rock,
