Flooring on the inside of the couch/bed/storage area and the sliding doors on the front.
Spent the week working on lotsa tiny details like this trim work. So time consuming doing the small things. But they make it look very finished.
Remember the shelf from a few months ago? Here it is in it's final form and installed. I cut it down ( it was about 7 feet long when I started) and used some of the cut part to make a slide-in keyboard surface or extra working surface.
Massive amounts of sleet ( in piles and drifts) and easily 5 inches of rain in about 45 minutes - Texas weather sheesh!!
The floor completed and a coat of boat spar on the inside of the door then the rains came...
Floor, floor and more floor - it's a hand scraped hickory hardwood floor. Love that texture with it.
Detail for the arm rests. Put wallboarding on the sides and will probably cover the finished part with leather or cloth at some point. But it's all very functional and comfortable.
The mechanical part is done. I'll do details tomorrow. Today has been hectic and blustery. 30-40 mile per hour winds. There will be plenty of storage beneath.
