These PLA glasses are made from plant starch. They do everything that is expected of them, just like petroleum based plastics ones do. 

There is one significant difference; The ones made from petroleum by products are going to be around for many, many years causing damage to the eco system.

The ones made from PLA will be all but gone after less than 12 weeks in a commercial compost facility.

VitalWare have just designed and ordered these PLA glasses and will have them in stock in Singapore in early 2018, available for next day delivery. We will have 12, 16 and 20oz in stock as well as flat and domed lids and 6mm and 12mm straws.

We have added to our range of  Tree Free Bags. There really is no need to cut down forests just to make paper.

Why use paper made from trees (the lungs of the Earth) when you can use paper made from agricultural waste?  

At VitalWare we care. We care about the people. We care about the critters. We care about the oceans and waterways and we care about the air. We care about the trees too.

So when we find products like these ‘bag’asse bags that are made from left over fibres (post sugar production) we feel a responsibility to bag a supply of them and offer them to our global customer base.

We have flat bottom carrier bags with twine handles, in a range of sizes, available in white or brown, plain or custom printed. We also have standard bags (without handles) in every size you could need, white or brown, both in    V-bottom and box-bottom.

Safe & Friendly Food Containers Comprised of Leftover Sugar-Cane Fibers - Sweet Deal!

Everyone knows single use plastic food containers are very useful but really horrible. We need to carry our takeaway food somehow. No one really likes poisoning their family with toxic petrochemicals and then chucking the used container in the bin and trying to forget about it. But what to do? 

Now there’s a fantastic alternative made from bagasse (leftover fibrous stalks from sugar production). Myriad shapes and sizes for every type of takeaway food. Trays, bowls, cups, boxes, hinged containers and much more besides.

Day by day, week by week, town by town, city by city and country by country, we are waking up to the uncomfortable truth of the catastrophic consequences of single-use plastics, which are filling our oceans and waterways, being stuffed into land fills and hidden for hundreds of years or being burned and polluting our skies and the very air we breathe.
