Back to the story on Monday. I have a short travel to Solo with my friends. We are only 3 people because I had already asked my other friends and they couldn’t join. Actually, on that morning we had been late (ngaret) because our last discussion we would meet at 9.00. but the fact is that we arrived un the train station at 10.30. We rode our motorcycle to go to the station and parked it there. We took our train at 11.05. by the departure time. It took for about 1 hour to be arrived at Solo. Well, one of my friend was sleeping and the other was enjoying his day-dreaming to see the beautiful paysage crossing by the train rail. Me too. I was enjoying my time to think so many thing but in a smooth-not too deep-and it is positive, like once again how merciful I am about this wanderlust and God still let me have a time tho in a short time to travel **escaping after all of the deadline and a whole week of duty** At 12.00, we decided to be arrived at Purwosari station (after a lil discussion of deciding which one it is, Solo Balapan or Purwosari). Then, we took a Batik Solo Trans or commonly called as BST in the shelter and costs for IDR 4.500. Now, I am so thankful for this easy accessibility which connect the strategic place like this station in Solo by BST. I felt it when I was abroad, how much comfortable if the access of the transportation is easily got. We waited for a moment, not in a long time the mini bus was arrived. It was in the shelter of “Halte Purwosari” (you just can go outside of the station and turn left, you’d see the shelter). There’s a lil difference between BST and TransJogja. In Jogja, we will pay the ticket before entering the bus and it costs IDR 3.500 cheaper than BST. But, in BST we will pay the price inside after entering the bus. The good thing I like from the BST is its painting/designation of bus using Batik patterns to show the characteristic of Solk as a Batik city. I think Jogja also should do this because Jogja is also well-known as a Batik city. I look this case is not only in public transportation, but some buildings in Solo like mall, office, and hotel they have Batik patterns in the building like is 'a must' characteristics of Solo. Our prime destination is "Richesse Factory" in Jl. Slamet Riyadi *lol I know, because it hasn't been there already in Yogyakarta yet. From Purwosari we can take BST Corridor 1 and stop it by Solo Grand Mall (SGM). If you need an ATM, just take it in SGM beside of the mall buildings. You just can walk several meters because Richesse Factory is accrossed the SGM. If you're lucky as I was, you don't need to have a long queue in the lunch time (it's a prime time to order the Richeese). My friend told me that she'd ever been waiting for an hour just for this queue. There, I was ordering this special menu named "Chicken Burn Fire" with level 3 and OMG IT'S SO HOT ! I just couldn't imagined the taste of level 5. I was almost crying just because its spicy. I love spicy food so much, but this is freak enough about the spicy level (perhaps in that day I didn't want too much spicy foods). But, the taste is SUPER ! It's delicious because of this special cheese sause which make it's different compared with another fried chicken product. The beverage also. Commonly, it's combined with Cola or any carbonated beverage, but in Richesse we can choose which one : Cola or Lava (a mix of milk and strawberry taste). Both, combined a good taste. Finishing our lunch at 14.00 and we planned to go to Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat. Again we rode the BST. First, we took our praying time in the 'Masjid' of Alun-Alun Utara Surakarta. Finshing the praying time at 13.30s then we decided to go to Keraton. The bad thing was we didn't know that on that time it's already closed at 14.00. We were dissappointed and we didn't know what we should do except sitting down and deciding where we should go. Actually, I want to go to the Balekambang park or just passing the UNS area. But, because its location was far enough we became stuck to go there. Then, we decided to go home at 15.30. But, in Solo Balapan Station UNFORTUNATELY, the ticket of Prameks at 17.00 was sold out ! We neede to wait for the next departure at 19.40. It was a long time ! While the weather was bad in heavy-rain *luckily when the heavy rain happened, we stayed at the bus because the distance is far enough (moreover, most of the road in Solo is one-way and make us to go arounding first). My friends and I incidentally decided to have a way back from Solo Balapan because I hadn't been there and to make me know how it looks like now (how kind they are wkwk). Having a spare time for 2,5 hours, we decide to go somewhere again and finally we went to Solo Paragon Mall (SPM). You can go there again by BST in front of the Solo Balapan station. We felt so hungry but it's still raining. Actually, we wanted try some special culinary from Solo but the weather didn't support us and we decided to eat in the SPM *doesn't mean we have so much money haha. Having a good time to enjoy our food and an enjoyable chit chat in SPM, it's already 18.30 and the waitress said that BST only operated until 18.00. At the first, we decided to go back to the station by Taxi. But, we thought that it was expensive so we decided to have Go-Jek and it's so much cheaper fron SPK to Solo Balapan Station costs IDR 4,000 and cheaper if you use Go-Pay IDR 2,000 *Lol. I ordered the last, so 2 of my friends were going first and made me sure that "is it really Vi ? Are u okay that we leave first ? " because the Gojek has a standard time to pick up the passengers in a punctual time. So, it will be their risk if the drivers don't go fast by its time on the apps, I think it correlates with their responsibility. So, I let them go because I felt pity to the drivers. Then, my driver hadn't come and made me afraid enough like "it's been a night, I am alone in the place that I don't know". But, I thought an important thing and really made me sure at that time "Vi, you said to yourself if you want to go solo travel by yourself. If being like this just make you afraid, your mental is low ! What else are you worried for ? It's safe and you just need to wait the driver because you know what you have to do". The brave-feeling was brighting at that time *lol. Oh la la ! The driver waited me in front of the mall, crossing the road. Unlike my friends whom they were picked up in front of the lobby. Actually I already told the driver to pick me up in the lobby but it's okay for me this lil thing isn't a problem. And... i arrived in front of the station. It couldn't enter the statiob because the Go-jek controversial problem *you may read or already known what is happening in Indonesia between "online public transportation" and "old-common-style public transportation". It's scared and pity for them actually. But, I think the health competition is always the best choice. Let our government do their "wise-rule". Arriving there and wait for half hours, then we went home at 20.05. Although it was only a short time and visit, the good thing I always like from wanderlust is : a new refreshing and make me be ready for the works/priductivities again ! People have their rights to be calm and enjoy the time of forgetting the works after they do their hardworks right ? For me, it's a reason after work in a whole week of activities I did and ever made me unsleep of making a paper. But, surely I'd be back to Solo to visit Keraton and Balekambang also for special culinary from Solo. Just wait "Solo part 2" with more fun and impressed things someday~
