Caregiver (big sissy) Vi with little autistic Caitlyn headcanons !! 🐇🌸
♡ ~ When little, Caitlyn is semi-verbal; she doesn't use many words, and the ones she does use are often muffled by either her pacifier or her thumb. She communicates using vague mumbles, points and gestures, and fingerspell sign language. Vi is good at understanding her.
☆ ~ Lots of nickname usage. The most used one is 'little bunny', coined from Caitlyn's love for bunnies in combination with her adorable tooth gap and habit of tapping her foot when she's annoyed, followed in second place by 'Caity'. She also likes 'bud', as in flower bud, which Vi came up with after using Jayce's nickname 'sprout' for her, only to be met with a grumpy little bunny because "only Jayce can use that".
♡ ~ Vi ties Caitlyn's hair up into a pair of twintails either side of her head, like her very own bunny ears. Caitlyn gets very excited and shakes her head to make her 'ears' flop around, and it becomes a stim for her.
☆ ~ They renovated one of the spare rooms of the Kiramman mansion into a nursery for when Caitlyn is little. It has bunnies on the walls, lining the transition from wall to ceiling, printed in frames of an animated flipbook hopping cycle. There's a cozy bed big enough for both of them, a bookshelf of children's books, a wardrobe full of cutesy clothes Caitlyn only wears when little, and shelves of toys (they're all on display, not tucked away in boxes or drawers, because Caitlyn thinks it hurts the toys' feelings to be put away).
♡ ~ Despite having a whole bookshelf, Caitlyn chooses the same story every time she wants Vi to read to her: the Kindred storybook. She calls Wolf a 'big death puppy'.
☆ ~ Caitlyn likes going for nature walks through the Kiramman gardens. She'll excitedly point to the crop of violets they have and exclaim "Sissy!", to which Vi always responds with "Mhm, that's me! And where are your favourites?" which then prompts Caitlyn to run over to the forget-me-nots and stroke their little petals.
♡ ~ Vi helps her put her shoes on before they go out. She narrates the process of tying Caitlyn's laces - "Bunny ears, around the tree, and pull!" - which is always met with giggles and claps from Caitlyn.
☆ ~ Caitlyn likes colouring. She has huge packs of crayons, every colour she could ever dream of available to use on books of bunnies, flowers and soothing patterns, but her favourite colouring book of all is Vi's tattoos! Vi is happy to oblige and even bought some skin-safe body paints and glitters for Caitlyn to use on her.
♡ ~ Little Caitlyn is very clingy. She follows Vi around everywhere, like a tiny gosling following its mummy goose, and always wants cuddles. She often clings onto Vi like a baby koala with her arms and legs wrapped around Vi's torso; Vi doesn't mind, since she's strong enough to carry her with ease.
