Happy Birthday King of Games!
This time is Atem visiting Yugi to leave a little present for him.
(Little side note: for those still wondering why I celebrate Atem’s birthday on June 2nd… I discovered the post thanks to Wiki, if you go to the Pharaoh Atem wiki page you will see the date has been put as June 2nd and a link to the post I made. Atem’s bday is stablished using the old calendary (one of the several old ones, all the process is explained on the post) and I decided to go by that date because actual professionals made the whole thing. I pick that date also because 1.- Atem can then have his own birthday so he gets to be celebrated too cause I see some celebrate him on the same date as Yugi or forget altogether. And 2.- why not July 26th? because that same post explains why its not that date on the notes, and because June 2nd is a nice date, both Yugi’s and Atem’s birthdays can be celebrated on the same month xD so yeah)

Now that I think about it, Gandora’s color scheme in the anime matches Yugi’s!
Gandora’s blue skin = Yugi’s jacket and pants
Purple lining = Yugi’s eyes
Red orbs = highlights in Yugi’s hair
Yellow eyes = Yugi’s bangs
Gandora is an amazingly epic card! Representing Yugi’s own strength! Actually, its risky ability is like Yugi’s own willingness to sacrifice himself for his friends!

When you consider what Seto has endured as a child, it’s not all that surprising that he finds a deep love and admiration in Atemu. I don’t think it’s really a super sexually emphasized relationship. He’s found someone who shares a similar passion and he can find a thrilling competition in. A friendship rooted in mutual synchronicity.
It’s cute and pure, obsessive undertones aside.
