Day 1....? Except Not Really!

Dear Readers,

Haaaa....well it's just my luck that on my big first planned day...and with all my nerves and everything that it didn't go as, well, planned. The flight was delayed for several hours and they only just came on the intercom to say that they fixed everything...but that they doubt there will be a crew available to fly at this late an hour.

Guess I'll be sitting around the airport for a bit longer. The other passengers said something about a complimentary hotel stay and maybe a voucher for food...but...ugh. I'd have just preferred to fly! Rip the band aid off of all these dang nerves!

This isn't the glorious start I thought I'd have to my new adventure... but tomorrow will be a new day once I'm rested...and maybe this will be a funny story some day along the line.

PS. I was scrolling some of the local Los Santos news and there was some weird talks about all the crime...and something about a man...bear...pig? Hopefully I'm not getting myself into anything too crazy.

The Night Before...

Hey Readers,

Tomorrow's the big day. Well, maybe today? It still feels a little surreal to have everything to my name packed in a bag...and then a box of stuff at my mom's place to ship out when I have an address to give her.

She still thinks I'm crazy. Doing this. The big move. But, I think this is my chance to make things work! I can't be the author the publishing company's want me to be living in that old boring town. I am not going to get anywhere with the same people in my life since high school.

So here's my new blog, and I'll see what social media everyone's on when I get in town-Sis say's it's probably Birdy. What else would it be? But I've only really ever used my trusty tumblr.

And to my loyal readers on Ao3, consider this an official notice of hiatus as I put everything into getting my book published. (Though I'll probs keep all my fan stuff on my other tumblr...Sis said it's not always good to talk about this uh...stuff on social media? Cos I need to be cool...or whatever but I don't know if that's true...isn't like nerdy in right now?)

I'll be posting my journey here, for prosperity. For proof. To be able to look back on. Hopefully one day I'm a famous author, and I'm saying hi to a reader from the future right now! Hi! I did it! You can too, hopefully this blog is proof of that! To new beginnings! To Los Santos!
