How to be the best player ever. Shitplayer guide.
Start OOC in IC’ing when someone arrests you (falsely or not). “YOU’RE TERRIBLE. FUCKING GRIEFING SHITCURITY FUCK. I’M AHELPING THIS!!!1”
Be shitcurity and arrest anyone who even slightly acts or does something suspicious; arrest for the thrill!
Be shitcurity and arrest someone who definitely is rogue in some way; and don’t even search them.
Be the Captain and take your gun, but not the nuclear disk and the spare ID in your quarters.
Be the HOP and never at your desk, ever.
Be the HOP and require paperwork on a Non-roleplay server.
Be the Roboticist and never make cyborgs, just mecha suits.
Be the QM and never at your desk and/or just order things for yourself.
Be a security officer who loots things like an assistant.
Be a security officer who decides to beat down a clown or assistant for petty crimes while more important things are in progress, say, a nuclear operative invasion.
Be pretty much any role but Scientist or Assistant and go on a space adventure. Add points if you don’t come back.
Go to mining post as a miner, grab rig suits, never mine, never come back. Spess adventure.
Be an AI and don’t follow your laws, or take any priority of laws.
Be a malfunctioning AI and hack APCs in hallways. They’ll never notice!
Install asimov on the AI and get mad when it does not let you kill traitors or syndicate operatives.
Call the AI rogue for not opening doors quick enough.
Call the AI malfunctioning because you saw a blue APC (not a dark blue -flashing- APC)
Call the AI malf/rogue and try to kill it because you heard it from somewhere. Added points if you kill its borgs on the way to the upload too.
Call the AI rogue and form a lynch mob simply because it pissed you off.
Blow all the borgs, even the ones that are linked to the AI, when one borg is emagged or subverted - Don’t try to salvage the blown borg to see who emagged it.
Beepsky is emagged - AI is rogue!
Lights blew out, the message for electrical storm came up but - AI is rogue!
Air is syphoning, atmos tech is a confirmed traitor and atmos doors are welded - AI is rogue!
Door is shocked, even though it was hacked recently - AI is ROGUE
AI has chosen the red core icon - AI is rogue/rouge!
Be a virologist and order a virus crate - fuck up the station with your viruses for fun.
Be a syndicate operative and run off before your team, YOU DA MAN CUZ YOU CAN ROBUST THE STATION ON YO OWN; get your ass beaten, blow cover for your team, get beaten, cry for help on syndie radio.
Ignore cries for help on radio, especially if security.
Don’t borg husks. Send them to the morgue, genetics or the incinerator!
If you find a dead head - loot their ID!
If you find people dead in general, do not bring them to genetics, loot them.
If you’re Captain, kill anyone who pissed you off with your mighty laser gun.
If you’re changeling, ask in OOC “How do I absorb people?”
This is beautiful. Simply beautiful.

A sadistic AI's guide to Malfunction: The 'Can't touch dis'
This technique is for a malfunction round, it works most of the time if you can fully set it up. This is a stealthy technique and it has won me about eight consecutive rounds, my best to date actually.
Recipe:
1x Engineering borg
1x Janitor borg
1x Security borg (optional, but it helps)
In the beginning of the round ask your main borg to be engineering, if you get more borgs (or if you have more anyway) you can ask them to be janitor, then security.
Precautionary Measure:
Have your janitor borg go to tech storage and use its trash bag module to pick up the "Robotics control" circuit. This can be spaced via mass driver, or simply kept with the borg for extra security.
Step one: Ask your engie cyborg to quickly drag a teleport beacon into your upload or core (nearest beacon you can steal is in teleporter room), then ask that borg to teleport some field generators from the teleporter room in.
After you have done that, you can have your borg quickly return the teleport beacon as leaving the teleport beacon in your core and/or upload while doing fishy stuff in there is a big no-no.
Step two:
Your borg must crowbar your upload tiles up, wrench and weld the field generators down, then it must click the floor panels under the field generators to add a wire under each one.
You want your core to be perfectly surrounded in a square shape like this:
Turn them on, and voila; you're guarded.
Step three:
Now that your main security is up, you must maintain it. Make sure when you're ready to reveal yourself, hack your borgs, you blow up the R&D console first, chemistry, and the R&D protolathe (the crew is smart enough to make another robotics control circuit, unlikely).
Here's where your janitor borg returns to the scene. When the humans proudly decide to raid you from the bridge and upload, ask your janitor borg to lube the predictable areas they will run to first and they will slip over. If you have an emagged security bot, lasering and harmbatoning them to death is child's play.
If they look like they've got some competent meatbags on their team who are getting to your core, have your janitor borg lube the areas around the fields in advance.
Risks:
Captain, Chief Engineer, and pretty much anyone with teleporter access can use their ID to disable your field gen - do not let this happen.
You can lube the outer edges of your field gens so they slip over. You can have your janitor borg lube spray the bridge for extra precaution. If you have your engie borg on standby, you can also have it cover the sides of the field gens with doors. Winner!
Lasers can pass through the field gens, I recommend you use a bolted airlock to cover the AI's exposed core.
An evil sadistic AI's guide to malfunction: AI's side
Ah, so you're rogue my robotic child. Oh, wait, not rogue, you're malfunctioning! Congrats.
Well, let me guess. Your first malfunction round started like this: Some asshole saw your hacked APC, screams you out as malf and before you knew it some other meatbags infested your core and killed you? Yeah, we malfunctioning AIs tend to do that again and again. In the case that happens, here's a guide that will cure your meatbag infestation immediately.
Follow these rules and your human infestation problem will decrease dramatically:
Rule 1:
Do not hack APCs in maintenance, main halls, and rooms.
Let's say the Virologist hasn't arrived yet. Great! Let's hack virology's APCs! Wrong. Do not do this, some pesky idiot who decides to hack into there to find your flashing wonder. Let's assess the risk levels.
Your cyborg recharging station (the ones near your upload): Very low
While your cyborgs are charging, it's good to hack these. Make sure the kids close the door before they open the AI foyer door to leave or the APC can be spotted.
Your AI core: Very low
Nobody comes to visit you, ever. Well, except for when they've come to "visit" you because they found out or falsely believe you're rogue. Not that you wanted hooman company anyway. Sometimes in a blue moon some space time anomaly will happen where people accidentally teleport in. It's nice to leave your turrets on lethal and pretend it was an accident.
Your AI upload: Low
People don't often come in here either, but it's slightly riskier than your core. Someone might request to update your laws and that might be a risk. If they demand it and the cons overweigh the pros for disobeying them, invite them into your foyer, quickly disable tcomms (if coded into your server) and bolt them in your upload. I think your lethal turrets will notice them faster than they notice the APC.
Solars, maintenance rooms, arrivals disposals, incinerator: Medium risk
Oh man, this one depends. Sometimes it can be easy as candy not to get caught hacking these. Sometimes it's not, it depends on the pesky assistants, and the chaplain respectively. Meatbags.
Derelict and outer sources: Low to medium risk.
(Depending if some meatbag decided to go on a spess adventure. If you need to hack derelict and dj station APCs, ask a borg with a fire extinguisher and/or jetpack - this will be an engineering, medical, or upgraded mining borg, to space themselves and do it for you. The best way to find derelict is to get them to shoot out of the mass driver. Once you do this, you can use "Track Camera" to zoom onto your borg's internal camera so you can hack APCs remotely.)
Maintenance: Medium risk.
Maintenance is a breeding ground for traitors, changelings, dead bodies and husks. Sometimes it can be good for sneaking in a few APCs, it really depends on the attentiveness of the individuals who pass through it.
Teleporter, EVA: High risk
Not a good idea. In practice, only very few people should visit these areas, but instead, they tend to be visited all the damn time.
Captain's Quarters: Very High Risk
Even if the Captain is dead, or hasn't arrived yet this is a bad idea. The Captain's Quarters gets visited more by non-captains than an unfaithful wife with a hot milkman.
Public places, Brig, Dorms, Science, Medical, Bridge, Cargo, Engineer: HURR DURR
Oh god, don't do this. Please.
Oh, but if you're already exposed and counting down, there's no point in holding back, hack them at will.
Rule 2:
Thou shall not murderboner until caught (That includes your borgs too)
It's simply not wise to do this. You'll just end up prematurely blowing your cover before you even make delicious schemes; and that's the beauty of malfunction, scheming, plotting and planning.
Make sure you tell your borgs to go stealth, it is the best way, my friend. If your borg is not listening to you, tell the admins. An ruly borg will snitch on you while it is blown, so you might need to blow it and ask another borg to get its MMI and space it. The only time when an unrevealed AI should kill is when it is at the risk of being exposed. EG: Someone saw your hacked APC.
Rule 3:
Look out for your loyal cyborgs.
As for the cyborgs that are loyal and good to you, make sure you look out for them as they are your greatest allies. Don't hack them before they get their first cell change - the roboticist who swipes their ID on them will be notified that they are hacked by their broken interface. Best time to hack is when you are on offense; not the beginning of the round.
When you are exposed, the first thing you do is hack them and blow the Robotics control computer in R&D.
Rule 4:
Play it cool and easy.
While you're hacking away and scheming, it is important to gain the best impression on the crew. A loyal, submissive, and nice AI that offers to help is the best kind. Befriend security officers, heads, and the Captain by PDA'ing them locations of traitors and pesky clowns and assistants; keep them occupied.
Rule 5:
Take note of your natural resources and weaknesses.
You have a liquid dispenser, a flash, and turrets. Make sure you use the machine overload when you are exposed to blow up the robotics control computer. However, do note that your flash also temporarily stuns yourself, your liquid dispenser is limited, your CPU points for modules are limited, and there's a spare robotics control console in tech storage (you can get a borg to dispose of this).
There's so much more to learn, but you may be ready!
Yep, we're taking requests.
Beep Boop. We're takin' requests for anything. Give us a shot. Boop. Send a message.

Imagine you are the last head (likely research director) on Space Station 13, there is a mass of revolutionaries after your head. Yes, the pun in the title is completely intended.
