Here are the other major pieces of legislation that would top that wishlist:

Immigration and Border Reform

The U.S. Citizenship Act:

A massive overhaul that would provide a structured pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants already living in the country (including Dreamers, individuals under Temporary Protected Status, and agricultural workers). It would also completely restructure the asylum processing system at the southern border to fast-track backlogs.

The Dream and Promise Act:

Specifically targets young undocumented immigrants who arrived as children, instantly giving them conditional permanent resident status and a clear route to full legal citizenship without fear of deportation.

Gun Safety and Criminal Justice

The Bipartisan Background Checks Act:

This would close the "gun show loophole" by requiring universal background checks for *all* gun sales, including private transfers, online sales, and secondary markets.

The Federal Assault Weapons Ban:

4️⃣ PUSH YOUR STATE LEGISLATURE — Oregon already requires automakers to honor opt-out requests for vehicle data. Demand your state do the same.
