My final project in my photography class is dedicated to all the Two Spirit/Queer Indigenous people who were excluded from the powwow dance circle and those who have had to endure homophobia/transphobia (aka colonization) from their own communities. This jingle dress, a healing regalia, is comprised of images of Two Spirit people from my Two Spirit Project, and Two Spirit people, both living and from our history. This is for you <3

MacEwan unveils their art installation by MacEwan alumni, Brenda Draney in Allard Hall. It's called, Trapline, the bronze lines represent her fathers trapline, the squiggly line is the N Saskatchewan River and hanging above is her fathers place.
