Aether prided himself as being calm as a cucumber; when he found out that the Knights of Favonius’s Alchemist was made of chalk, he was ok and calm about it. When he found out that a drunkard bard was an Archon, he was a bit disturbed, but he was accepting of it. He knew that he should not judge a book by its cover. Even if the commissions he takes are weird, like exchanging poetry with hilichurls, he was ok with it…but this special commission from the Northland Bank takes the cake of being the weirdest one of all, it even brought Paimon, freaking Paimon to tears. “Who would do this?!” Paimon exclaimed. Aether agrees - What sort of parents in their right minds would do such a thing?! Out of all people to let their child emulate, they chose a freaking battle-crazed harbinger, to the point of matching his clothes. He even has a Hydro Vision for Archons’ sake! “He says he’s Tartaglia, the Eleventh Harbinger,” Ekaterina said, looking at Aether and Paimon. “What the f-?”

Childe wanted to see his lover, Zhongli; when he reached the house, he could hear Zhongli, moaning. He was curious…was Zhongli getting off by himself? He smirked, he would love to see it. When he opened the door, however, he saw a man on top of a naked Zhongli…

“‘…I wanted to make sure that I love you,’ is what he said,” Childe told the group of individuals gathered. “Damn, that’s cruel,” Kaeya said. “I’m sorry you had to go through that,” Thoma said, holding Childe’s shoulder. Meanwhile, Diluc looked like he wanted to murder everyone before grabbing the bottle away from the group of drunk individuals. “Aww, don’t be so cold, Diluc! He’s heartbroken like the rest of us! Can I share next?” Venti asked, grabbing the bottle from him.

My entry for @arlenianchronicles​’s DTIYS.  As with last time, it’s not entirely based off of one of her originals, but that’s no surprise.  Also I’m not really satisfied with how it turned out and it only got worse the more I tried to fix it, but in any case it’s still better than some of the other stuff I’ve posted on this disaster of a blog so there we go I guess.

While stuck in the domain with Xinyan, Aether Paimon and Shiki Taishou, Childe sings a song using Xinyan’s instrument and Aether realizes it’s about Zhongli. Aether becomes a matchmaker and hopes that Childe will get it together and tell Zhongli how he feels while Aether tries to help Zhongli realize that the feelings he has, are of love.

 Ajax found the man who called him Childe in Northland Bank. "Master Ajax, this is Zhongli, he will be your carer from now on," Ekaterina said. Ajax looked at Zhongli who looked at him with a smile. "Hello Ajax," Zhongli said, smiling at Ajax.

"Please Childe, we do not know who else to turn to," Zhongli said, looking at Childe with puppy dog eyes and a pout. "...Fine;" Childe didn't know why he agreed immediately, maybe because looking at the two, he was sure that the baby would not survive a day with them; oh what the heck! It was because of that stupid smile, that smile he gave after he agreed to help, that is why.
