As someone that had been in his fair share of fights before, he knew exactly how different it was when you punch a bag and when you do it to someone’s face. But it wasn’t always that you could do the later. Not every day that he got to fight with someone, even in his job, sometimes it was pretty peaceful, and he didn’t even have to point his gun at anyone, “Are you offerig yourself?” he teased her, his tone was as playful as he could make it be at a moment like that, but his usual grin in his face when he joked, wasn’t on his lips, but there was a small smile, “I should probably let you know, that i’m really good at fighting, and I would win if we sparred together,” he didn’t know how good she was at it, so he wasn’t being serious, for all he knew, she could be better than him.
Tilting her head, she gave the idea a moments thought before breaking into a smile. She hadn’t been originally but now? His confidence, however jokingly it was meant only made her lean towards going for it. “You probably would.” She responded sarcastically. Topping off her water she slowly stood up as she motioned in a bring it on motion. “Let’s put it to the test. Winner gets...” She shrugged. “Bragging rights and whatever else.” She hadn’t thought far enough ahead, mostly just entertained by the idea of a little sparring match happening to being with. With everything else going on and the tension oh so clearly felt throughout every corner for this little town, she just wanted to have a little fun and not think so much.
