There was no music playing, and yet Lottie was still dancing through the streets of Magic Kingdom. Of course, if anyone was going to be seen tap-dacing to nothing except whatever song she was singing in her head, it would be her. “Well c’mon, sugar! I can’t do this by myself!” She called out to a nearby person with a giggle.

“I think one president would be easier to take out than ten of the small world guys. We’ll be fine.” Ethan said with a small laugh, taking the other girl’s hand into his own and pulling her along, “Did you see people heading for the monorail?”
“I dunno, I hear ol’ Abe was pretty tough back in the day.” Natalie let out a soft laugh. “If by people you mean colored blobs that vaguely resemble people, then yeah. Where do you think it’s going?”

“I think you were wearing them when we were in the Hall of Presidents. Do you want to go check there maybe? Maybe they got lost there or somewhere on the way–Definitely don’t want you to be blind.”
“Yeah, I think you’re right.” Natalie nodded and smiled softly. “Yeah, I don’t think being blind is making this situation any less scary. There’s no harm in checking, as long as Abe Lincoln doesn’t come alive and try to kill us.”

“I’ll keep an eye out. Now that we’re not watching for Animatronics…” He said, kicking aside the corpse of one that had fallen apart, “Where’d you last have them?”
“Thanks.” Natalie offered a soft smile as she looked back up at Ethan. “I-I don’t really know... It happened during one of those blackouts, they could be anywhere.”
“I-I, um... I think I lost my glasses, so if you see them lying around anywhere could you let me know? I can’t really see without them...” Natalie replied, looking down at the ground and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
NATALIE
Natalie nodded, and her now-red eyes went wide. “That’s been happening to you too…? It’s terrifying… At first I thought I was just sleepwalking or something, but now I’m not so sure.”
Hearing someone else sharing his plight instantly lifted his mood a little, and he moved a little closer to her, “I don’t know either. Maybe something’s in the air that’s triggering it…but hey.” He smiled and picked up his bag and pull out the portrait he’d drawn of her in the monorail terminal, now fully colored, “Let’s say it’s a good thing. Because I got to see you again and give this to you–an Ethan Liu original. Take it.”
Upon seeing the painting, Natalie's lips parted in surprise as she took it from him. She just stared at it for a moment, speechless, before finally speaking. "Oh my God, Ethan... It's beautiful. Thank you."

As she was taken away from the animatronics, Natalie allowed herself to take a deep breath and relax. Though she was still terrified, something about being with someone she trusted made her feel much safer. When the door shut, she leaned her back against a nearby wall, taking another deep breath and nodding. “I-I’m fine… What about you? Are you alright?”
“All things considered, yeah, I’m good.” He laughed a little, caught somewhere between shock and fear of the situation, “Don’t know what the heck’s going on though I’m…really confused. I just want to get out of this park. It was fun at first, but it’s stressful now–I keep blacking out and waking up in places I don’t remember going.”
Natalie nodded, and her now-red eyes went wide. "That's been happening to you too...? It's terrifying... At first I thought I was just sleepwalking or something, but now I'm not so sure."
NATALIE
Lottie nodded. “You’re right. This has gotta be the strangest thing I’ve ever seen.” She shook her head, a small frown on her face. “I’m sorry, sugar, I haven’t. They’ve gotta be around here somewhere, though.”
Tiana sighed, “Sure hope so. Hope they found bodies to hide out inside of too–speakin’ o’ which, Lottie, I’m surprised you did find yourself a little blonde for yourself. I tried to find someone who looked a lot like me–this was ‘bout as close as I could get.”
"Well I was gonna, but this girl was more scared than a cockroach on a dance floor, I couldn't just leave her alone. 'Sides, she's awful pretty, ain't she?" Little did a little twirl and giggled softly.

“Nothin’ yet, and I hope it stay sthat way. We’ve gotta buckle down and stick together so we can figure out what the heck’s goin’.” Tiana pulled away, "Lottie, you haven’t seen Naveen have ya? Or Louis?”

Holding her hand tightly, Ethan threw his bag over his shoulder and began to lead Natalie away before the robots found their bearings again. Nowhere seemed very safe, but for the moment, the only place he could think to go was the Hall of Presidents – even though there were other much larger animatronics in there, he hoped that not going to far in would keep them safe. Just inside the building, Ethan shut the door and let out a breath, “Shit–alright…are you okay? We should be safe in here.” He questioned, still gripping her hand.

Siv tilted his head. “Does Natalie even know that you’re inhabiting her?” Although he figured the answer was going to be no, he himself was curious.
“’Course she does, sugar! Or, she will. I left her a lil message on that camera she’s always got ‘round her neck, but she hasn’t seen it yet.”

Ethan wasn’t quite sure how he ended up in front of the Haunted Mansion when he last remembered being at Tom Sawyer Island, but next he knew, he was standing there and a pack of very small…children were approaching him. Wait…No, they weren’t children. He pieced together almost immediately what they actually were and ran, cursing quietly to himself as he tried to work out what to do and where to go. Moving quickly, he tried to find the most out of the way path possible to avoid being seen by the roaming packs of animatronic children. Liberty Square. Where could he go in Liberty Square? He barely had time to think about it as he heard the sound of someone screaming in passing. It was against his good conscious to just leave whoever it was, and so he followed the voice until he found a familiar figure crouched in a corner, being attacked by a couple of the animatronics, “Natalie!” He wasn’t quite sure what he could do to stop the attackers, but they were just small moving dolls, right? That’s what he told himself as he jogged over and used the element of surprise to knock them off with his bag., “Hey, give me your hand. Come on!” He urged, ready to move again before the animatronics gained their bearings again. ( @nataliewcst )
Normally, It’s a Small World was Natalie’s favorite ride. Seeing all of the different countries united in such a happy way brought a smile to her face every time, but at this point she’d be surprised if she ever went near the ride again. She tried to take shelter in the Memento Mori shop, and for a few minutes it was quiet, but then she heard the sound of little feet scampering as five animatronics started closing in on her. She wasn’t going to fight; she’s never fought anything in her life, so she did the one thing she could think of. She screamed and tried to back herself even further into the corner of the shop. As they approached and tears began running down her face, she heard a voice and her head snapped up. “E-Ethan!” She practically leaped over the robots on the floor before they got back up again and took Ethan’s hand.
Did I ever tell you guys that Lottie is my spirit animal and that I want to be her when I grow up?

“But if you’re just a ghost, wouldn’t all this shit just go through you? Ghosts aren’t usually solid…are they?” At the statement that he too was possessed, Siv mentally sighed. Given Natalie and a few others’ statements, he had a pretty good idea as to who was sharing a body with him.
“I dunno the logic behind it, hon. I just know that it’s a heck of a lot safer in here than it would be out there.” Lottie replied with a small shrug. “But I promise, any time ya wanna talk to Natalie, I’ll get outta your hair.”

Tiana rolled her eyes and approached the girl, giving her a tight squeeze, “You’ve got a real special way of lookin’ at things, you know that?” She couldn’t help but smile though, “I can barely put into words how happy I am to know you’re safe, Lottie.”
“I like to look at the positives, ya ought to know that.” Lottie giggled, hugging her friend tightly. “I’m happy to see ya too! I’ve been so worried, I thought somethin’ terrible might’ve happened to ya!”

Siv’s curiosity only increased. “Why are you taking up residence in her? And is there someone in me?”
“Well, it’s a lot safer to have an actual body than it is to just walk around lighter than air!” Lottie nodded. “Sure as sugar! But don’t worry sweetie, I’m sure he’s real friendly!”
