Training || Natalie&Lessa&Nick

Gasping for air, Lessa could hardly believe the precision with which Natalie sliced Nick’s arm. When Natalie had called out to her to stop, she slowed to an exhausted walk. She went back to the starting point and squatted down, trying to catch her breath before stretching. As Natalie lifted her chin, Lessa met her eyes, hoping her determination was showing. Once Natalie released her, Lessa began stretching again, relishing the chance to catch her breath and stretch out her cramped muscles.
Running was something she had done before, but it had never been as hard on her as those 5 laps had been. She didn’t know how she would make it to 10 laps, and if she was honest with herself, she might not have made it through all 10. Hearing Natalie’s comment to Nick, she turned her attention to the other trainer, wondering what they would teach her first, and whether or not she’d be able to handle it.

The small cut on his arm wouldn’t take that long to heal. So Nick really didn’t pay it any mind besides. By now he knew the dangers of taunting Natalie, and she still didn’t scare him. “If it makes you feel better keep telling yourself that Natty” he shot back. Nick could see that just running laps had already began. To wear Lessa out and that she wouldn’t last a second if she didn’t really rest.
“Well you know what they say. The best defense is a good offense, but give her another ten minutes. She looks like she’s about to roll over and die of exhaustion.” Nick walked over and held out a water bottle for Lessa to take. “You’re doing great” he told her with an encouraging smile.

The fact that Nick would heal easily enough was exactly why she didn't hesitate to cut him like she had. Then again, she still might not of, even if he couldn't heal. When he called her Natty again, she let out aother growl towards Nick - one Lessa would be able to hear rather clearly. "I said do not call me this." When Nick suggested they give her time to rest, she folded her arms across her chest and rolled her eyes, taking a drink of water, herself.
"You are not supposed to compliment her when she has done nothing but run in circles. This is not praise worthy." She frowned at Nick, walking over to them both. Of course, Lessa ran five laps with no complaints, all with an extra twenty pounds on her body. "Fine." She looked down at Lessa, who really could use the ten minutes, it seemed. "But we fight to show her what she can get out of training." Alina then did something she rarely did - but Nick riled her up - she took the fifty pound weights off each of her own limbs, smirking as she did so.
"You will watch. Because if you do not die or give up training with me, you will learn to fight and not be weak and pathetic." She put her hair up in a tight, high ponytail, and loosely stretched as she walked over to Nick, waiting for him to make the first move.
