So… canonically Sholmes has grown his hair out to his shoulders and has crossdressed and I blacked out and drew this

I was tempted to make a matching long haired Ryunosuke sketch but I’ve already been stuck in sketching hell for weeks so maybe later…

I had to draw her alt hair colors, she invented having blue hair and pronouns in the aa universe.

More neutral colors, more gold in her hair, also I want to point out important design details. The spade iconography, to parallel Iris’ card suit idea and to represent his parallels to Phoenix in AA4, also bc the symbolism is associated with intelligence and I thought the visual similarities to Iris’ hearts made sense.

Also the lace uses a gear pattern and I actually researched Victorian makeup which is mostly that fake natural look but with more nightshade eyedrops (to enlarge pupils and make eyes look bigger, might cause blindness) and arsenic (to look beautifully sickly). But I mostly focused on giving Herlock that powdery vibe. Not that she wouldn’t try the whole deadly poisons thing, just for fun.

Last thing, the little pearl decoration on the dress is in the shape of Iris’ flower design. Okay that is all goodbye

Wow….It’s been forever since I drew these two. My friend brought them up the other day, and I suddenly got the urge to doodle them again lol. It’s still funny how we managed to create so much fan content based on a single illustration from the fan art book. Those were good times… Capcom gave us almost nothing, but we had The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, and we made it work.
