A papercraft commission of Natsume (and Nyanko-sensei!) from Natsume’s Book Of Friends. I listened to all the anime’s opening and ending songs on loop while working on this piece, which made for a lovely, soothing experience!

Day 21 - Traveler

Natsume has gone through many things since he was a child until he found a place to belong. Quite a journey, full of uncertainty and fear, but now he has arrived to a home to call his, traveler days over

There’s some yokai who also travel for miles and years

A huge house and two evil spirits on the loose. What a wonderful night to have! Be sure to stay close to friends and family just in case (or a melon 😆)

Natsume Yuujinchou or Natsume's book of friends is my comfort anime. It is beautiful all around and I would die for Touko, ok?! It's an older piece I already uploaded on Instagram under my other username MelanieReload but Tumblr folks are so nice and supportive, I wanted to share here too. It's acrylic on canvas btw.

A screenshot redraw of natsume season 2!! I don’t remember the exact episode but it was the one where taki is introduced. This has always been such a poignant scene for me and I wanted to give it some love. It was also a fun time for figuring out csp brushes (hence the background looking like that).
