We are a quoigenic gateway plural collective of around 400 (as of April 2026). We sign our posts unless we don't, in which case you should assume it's either Artemis or just the Collective in general.

What is Plurality?

Plurality is, simply put, any state of being more-than-one in some way. For us, that means that we have many fully-formed (and some not) people living within one body, and we often switch who is controlling the body at any given time. Don't worry, we're all nice.

These people are not other selves of one person nor are they parts of one person. Plurality can manifest this way, but it is not how it works for us. We are all real people with different interests, ways of communicating, personalities with depths and different sides, and the ability to grow.

What is Quoigenic?

Quoigenic is an origin label for plurality. There are many origin labels, but quoigenic has several meanings: it can mean we don't know or don't care about our origin, we don't want other people to know, or in our case, we reject the idea that origin is the most important question you could be asking. For us, origin is much less important than how we work together and exist as a system in this moment; we reject the idea that this has to be a defining feature of a system at all. (Yes, it's hard to understand if you're not part of the community, because the term itself was spawned in the context of a lot of community discourse.)

Gateway Collective?

We identify primarily as a collective and are trying to filter out the term system; we used to identify as a system, but we no longer feel like that word is the best way to describe us. Therefore we are the Starfall Haven or Starfall Collective.

Our inner world is connected to a planet we call Divisus, which has its own cultures, civilizations, and history. A few of us are from that planet, but most of us come from elsewhere. Although we might occasionally talk about it, we tend to keep details of our inner world off tumblr.

Art! '#lc arts' is our art tag, and we have a more complete gallery over on deviantart.

Religious stuff! We have an eclectic mix of religious beliefs in-system, but our host and many of us are polytheists. Artemis runs Per Inpw, a twitch channel where they broadcast Kemetic rituals and education. There is also an associated discord.

Writing! We have an ao3, and a writing blog for shorter, less finished stuff.

Tarot and lenormand! We do tarot and lenormand readings for pretty cheap, and sometimes do free card pulls on tumblr.

We play FFXIV on the Seraph server, Dynamis DC and we also play Genshin and HSR. If you want to play either of those with us, hit us up!

SCA stuff: we participate in Society for Creative Anachronism events and meetings. We have an early 13th century Gaulish persona and are working on archery, illumination, and heraldry. May also get into period cooking when we get the chance. We are in the kingdom of Calontir.

June fundraising, not great news.

We're disabled, trans + queer, and struggling. The gov cut our benefits yet again despite an appeal. This makes it impossible to for us to afford cat supplies, phone + internet, and OTC supplies like Tylenol and sanitary products.

We also have debt from last year. Our mother died, leaving us with debt, and our oldest kitty had a brief illness before passing. Our younger girls both got sick shortly after. Donations help cover those CareCredit payments. We had to spend to get meds for our oldest girl, which set us back this month.

We're trying to raise $282 ASAP, but by the 20th at latest. We're currently at $50/282, with 9 days to go to raise the rest!

I just took that reddit post down. Not going to lie being accused of using AI for the past couple of days has really made us not want to post anything in that subreddit anymore, especially if you have to jump through hoops to prove you did something. I work 40 hours a week and do art on the side when I have time, I shouldn't have to have a whole second job documenting my every move when I'm just trying to be creative and make something I like.

personally I am of the opinion that vegans who are like “the way our food system currently works under capitalism on a large scale is exceptionally cruel to all animals including humans and is not sustainable, so I’m doing what I can to make the most ethical choices available to me about what I eat and encourage others to do the same” are generally very reasonable people who I agree with in spades. but vegans who seem to think human beings are not themselves animals who are ultimately also part of the food chain but instead some kind of other paternalistic higher entity that can never engage in ethical and sustainable hunting practices (and especially the fringe I’ve seen who think other carnivorous animal predators are also evil and need to be eliminated) are people I regard as foolish at best if not actively anti-indigenous and racist
