Happy Pride Month!

Did makeup inspired by trans flag yesterday, trying out this kinda splash/frutiger metro (kinda) inspired style. Idk, i was just trying out something new for fun lol!

Genuinely started thinking about dropping Lapvona because it just so distasteful at times

I started reading Lapvona and it's absolutely not what I expected from it. It's very grotesque, gross ans sick and I genuinely don't know what I should think. I'm still determined to finish it as of now, but the contents of the book left me pretty shocked.

Like I said I'm at the start of it and with all the grotesque stuff, I hope it was not added for the shock value because I think it's just really distasteful and I would rather that whatever is happening in the book has its purpose (whatever the purpose maybe, i hope you know what i mean), instead jsut trying to make me feel disgusted without a bigger thought behind it :T

In the near future (idk when exactly) but we're finally getting a polish translation for Hazelthorn by C. G. Drews! I'm so excited, been waiting for since I have read Don't let the forest in! Can't wait!!! <3

So the books have finally arrived!

To be completely honest, I don't know much about any of them. I have had plans about reading Picture of Dorian Gray before, but I was waiting for the uncensored version and I finally got it, and besides that I have seen Lapvona a few times as I was scrolling through pinterest through people's reading recommendations. That's about it.

Not sure when I'm about start reading any of them as I'm halfway in Witcher: Crossroads of Ravens but I hope to start as soon as possible as I'm pretty excited about all of them. I'm either gonna start with Lapnova or The Unworthy because these are the ones I'm the most curious about at the moment. (It's also kinda that Unworthy have such a gorgeous cover, just like Crosses of Ash, absolutely love them!)

Also depending on Lapvona, I might give Ottessa Moshfegh a chance since I saw she has more books. Same thing with Eliza Clark, as I have seen she has more books that have caught my attention, but unfortunately not many of them have been translated last time I check :P

I might give a little review after reading each one of them, which is something I haven't done in a while. And it's kinda a shame since I find it really fun to leave my thoughts on the books, even if I don't always find the right words to properly express the thoughts and feeling the book left me with properly xd

I was out yesterday, was hoping to get my hands on some new books but found nothing that caught my interest (or in good enough price), so instead i ordered some books once i got home. Gonna show them once they're here >:3

I'm thinking about The Creature from Frankestein (the 1818 book) and I kinda wish The Creature could know how loved and celebrated he is by us <333

I just finished reading The Trial by Franz Kafka and I genuinely don't know what to think or how to interpret this book. But maybe the reason for it is the fact that I have struggled a little lately with reading, so I didn't read this book in go, but with some break which I think made interpretation slightly harder for me

I went into it with no expectations, mostly because I wanted to just let the book take me where the author wanted it go. I tried to have an open mind about it and embrace the chaos and all hints related since I personally often get annoyed when books have inaccuracies or anything along those lines. So with this one, I just really wanted to let go and not get too stressed.

Even if I wish reading this went better, I still found to be interesting. I wasn't sure what I was getting into and I'm still not sure what I read lol. It left me genuinely confused!

For now, only thoughts I'm being left with is that I think I need to come back to this book after a few years and then read it again. Hopefully then I'll be able to grasp it better.

I still want to read more of his stuff though! Not sure when because I have a few books that have been waiting to be read for a while now, so Kafka's work has to wait for now
