[[Doorstep Deliquent]] - Closed for Kakyoin
Jotaro was at work like always, doing what he was supposed to do. In the middle of his work, he heard his phone vibrate, thus having to stop. He pulled his phone out from his pocket to only see a text message from Kakyoin. He was surprised by the text because it said to come over and it was an emergency, nothing else.
Noriaki..? Is he okay?
Texts like this worries him and with it being his boyfriend, he was really worried. He puts the phone away and grabbed his belongings as quickly as possible. He told one of his coworker that there was an emergency and he needed to leave right away then ran out. He jumped into his car and drove off as quickly as he can, taking some short cuts here and there.
He arrived at their place, got out and ran to the building. He took the stairs, not taking long for him to get to their room and not even bothering to check if the door is unlocked or not, he kicked it open, getting ready to fight someone. ❝NORIAKI ARE YOU O..kay..?❞ He blinked at the fact that there was someone else in his and his boyfriend’s place and that everything looked fine.
❝..What..?❞
At the request of her father’s boyfriend, Jolyne simply nodded, lowering herself onto the couch quietly. She’d already caused enough of an uproar, she should consider herself lucky she hadn’t been asked to leave after the little stunt she’d pulled… But still, she couldn’t help her foot from bouncing on the ground, eagerly glancing to the door waiting for her father to get back… After 18 years, suddenly the minutes she had to wait were going to seem the longest.
Though she didn’t have to wait long, before Noriaki could even return with the drinks from the kitchen a loud BANG echoed through the small apartment, and she was on her feet within seconds, gangsters instinct sharpened in prison to jump at the sound of a brawl.
Though instead she found herself staring into the face of a stranger, though one that looked painfully familiar. It didn’t take a genius to know who this was, but for the first time in her life, Jolyne found herself completely speechless, simply standing in the living room of her father, staring him in the eye and not a single word or sound would leave her throat, instead she felt like a fish out of water just gaping at him in her stunned silence.
Well at least it explained for her own flare for dramatic entrances.
“Are you… Jotaro Kujo?” She asked despite knowing the answer, finally finding her voice as she just took a step towards him, eyes taking in the towering man she apparently also got her height from.
In hindsight, he really should have anticipated this.
No sooner had Noriaki finished preparing the set of drinks for himself and Jolyne when the sudden sound of one of their doors being practically kicked off it’s hinges caused a startled flinch. The booming voice that followed, however, earned only a gentle sigh as the redhead quickly realized what was going on.
Jotaro was home.
Clearly the message he had sent was interpreted incorrectly; his quick, curt text seeming more alarming to the other man than was actually necessary, resulting in him crashing through the doors and ready to shove his fist through the face of anyone unfamiliar, no doubt.
Luckily -- by the time Noriaki had returned to the room in which both Jotaro and his daughter were standing in -- Jotaro had quickly settled down again, with the pair most likely too startled by each others presence for him to even start a fight.
Clearing his throat as he stepped further into the room, a certain look was given to the taller male as if to prompt him to speak, nodding his head towards Jolyne as if to signal that he should really focus on her presence for the time being.
Part of him felt as though he should leave the two of them to talk alone, but if this young woman had inherited Jotaro’s social skills alongside his looks, then something told him they were going to need a little bit of help clearing the air.
