Reuniting on planet 51
Penfold is the responsible one (not really but he’s at least better than DM)
Ive been enjoying traditional for a while now :)
Fanart be upon ye :)
(Ignore the fact that my handwriting is barely intelligible)
The fact that Chuck brought HAIR PRODUCTS on his mission says a lot. Like, bro wanted to make sure he looked good even if no one saw him. This leads me to believe that he is one of them mf's that take the "everything showers". Like, full skincare, full hair care, everything. Probably owns more than one fancy looking robe too😂. And don't try to offer this man the "manly" smells, he would rather not smell like a damn tree.
Low-key headcannoning that Chuck is mostly of Swedish ancestry just because I saw a Swedish Cream Bun Cake on pinterest. I just kinda looked at him and it clicked like, "That mf is Swedish." But also, a lot of redheads I know have ancestry from Scandinavia, Scotland, etc. So maybe that's why it clicked for me since Chuck is a ginger. Just thinking about the cake tho, I can see Chuck knowing the recipe off the top of his head from his grandmother, but he also has a recipe card with him so he never looses the recipe. I think Grawl would enjoy the cake, and seeing how happy it makes Chuck, they probably have the cake at their wedding. The recipe is most likely one that was handed down for generations, kind of like an old family cookbook.
Now, for Grawl, I could see him having ancestry from P51s version of Russia, or the Slavic region in general. Main reason, his jaw. The sharp jawline (from what I've seen) is often in people that are slavic/have Slavic ancestry. BUT, something I am also thinking about is Grawl as a native (like Native Americans) from his planet. Again with the jaw, as a common feature of native I often see is their jawlines, but also his eye shape. I really can't explain it, it just makes sense in my brain ig. Mostly leaning towards the Slavic thing tho.
I read this (as a Swede myself) and was just like: Yes!
My mind immediately went to prinsesstårta, though I realized half way through the drawing that maybe it wasn’t the kind of cake you meant… oops.
Anyways I drew Grawl and Chuck cutting their wedding cake with a prinsesstårta as the top tier.
I made another one of my purposely bad drawings
Just realized I hadn’t drawn these two in a while… So here they are!
Can you tell I don’t like drawing backgrounds…
Your art is so cute!
A rough Planet 51 drawing :)
I accidentally drew Grawl slightly smaller than Chuck which annoys me… but I don’t have the energy to fix it.
POV: you’re Grawl
I tried something new with this one and can’t tell if I like it or not. But I still felt like posting it :))
Shoutout to these rodents this pride month!
I felt like I had to post this one of Grawl as well while I’m at it.
Honestly I keep getting absolutely obsessed with the most random things… so here is some fanart of Charles T. Baker aka Chuck from Planet 51 :)))
I still don’t really know how tumblr works (or how to caption this in general) but I guess this is my official hello to the Danger Mouse fandom.
This is what I thought Dracula looked like when I read his description in the book.
