hello, sooo i’ve been thinking about this a lot, and i need to be honest about where i stand right now.

if manon does not come back, and if hybe x geffen continues to stay silent without releasing a proper statement regarding the way she has been treated, i don’t think i can continue supporting the group as a whole. i cannot bring myself to support a company that allows the mistreatment and silencing of one of its members, especially a black woman, to go unaddressed.

if it comes to that, i’ll most likely be going inactive and stepping away from posting and writing katseye. i will always continue to support the girls individually because they deserve so much love outside of the company, but i don’t see myself interacting with official group content anymore. “ot6 or nothing” goes both ways for me, and if one member is no longer there, then it simply won’t feel the same.

i’m also honestly really bummed out because i was so excited to finally start this sophia centered interactive au that i’ve been planning for a while now (alongside a lot of other fics), and this whole situation has made it hard to even think about writing. i’m not sure if it’ll ever be fully written since, for other reasons extending out of katseye and social media, i just can’t seem to write right now.

i will still try to find some motivation to start this interactive au, as i have put lots of effort into it already. if i ever do manage to start and finish this, consider it my last work for katseye. i’ll still leave this account up so people can continue enjoying my work, but for now i just feel really lost and disappointed. :/
