The biggest theory in my news feed has been about Deok Hwa. The theory goes he could be God or the Elder Wol Ha. The Elder is the overseer of marriages. The theory is interesting since we’ve seen Grandma and Deok Hwa meeting. The second meeting people pointed out Grandma Sam Shin is speaking formal to Deok Hwa. The next clue is Deok Hwa being able to find Eun Tak. However, you could say he found her using human methods, but why show the butterfly God? Could Deok Hwa be a higher power or maybe Shin’s guardian angel?

He is also the one who brought the Grim Reaper to stay at Goblin's house. Perhaps he wanted both of them to resolve their issues after so long.

A not so funny 2016…

This has been a dim year, what with Brexit, Trump, and all those people we loved who disappeared, leaving a huge hole in our souls. 

Moreover, Richard-wise, we lost a great opportunity of seeing/hearing our beloved man being a rockstar in ‘Mid Life Crisis’. 

Richard himself was not himself (sorry for the pun) and became more and more serious and grim. Probably, understandably… And all this reflected on his sparseness of tweets/selfies in the second half of the year. 

Luckily we got Berlin Station (In a way or the other), and some lucky people had the chance to see him live in Love, love, love (I wasn’t one of them, unfortunately). And, just to celebrate the close of the year, we also got a great audiobook, Romeo and Juliet.  All in all it wasn’t so bad for him, professionally speaking, then. 

So now I want to celebrate his joie de vivre and his silliness, which, even if a little hidden, has found its way to us this past year nonetheless (before being deleted, too many times).

In hoping for a better 2017, I wish you all a Happy New Year remembering the funny side of Richard life and wishing him and us to have good reason to smile and laugh in the year to come.
