Peaches looked at the heart on her butt. Why is it that everyone thinks she is kind, caring and loving because of it? Don’t they know what “capricious” means?
Peaches wonders if the stress reliever works on cats if it works on humans. It might come in handy when she is about to claw someone’s face.
Marshmallow yawned and stretched, waking up from her peaceful nap on the snowy pillow. She glanced over to see Peaches batting at the stress reliever, seemingly deep in thought.
Marshmallow called out from her pillow. “Careful there. Don’t want another ripped toy.”Â
Princess crawled under a hole in the fence into the yard. “Hey Marshmallow, I haven’t seen you in a while.” She yawns, and pads over to the food bowl. She was feeling a bit out of it today, and hadn’t got nearly enough rest as she had hoped.
Sock’s ear flickered lightly at the noise of the neighboring cats. He was deep in sleep and dreamed of traveling over seas like the adventurous cat he is.
Marshmallow glanced around the yard. More cats had shown up. She looked over at Socks and considered rousing him from his slumber, but decided against it. She stretched yet again and stood up.
Making her way to the food bowl, she flicked her tail in acknowledgement towards Princess. “Has been a while…”
Princess layed down on her Marble Pad. Maybe now she could get some sleep… She yawned again. Boy she was tired… “My family got a dog, he’s been barking, kept me up all night yesterday…”Â
Marshmallow purred sympathetically. She proceeded to climb up to the top tier of the cat tree, looking down at Princess. “Bet you’re lucky you still have fur!” She chuckled lightly.
Peaches thought of a new topic. “What does your human look like?” she asked. “Mine has black hair and pale skin.”
“There’s four, two girls with brown hair, a tall girl with blonde hair, and a big guy with black hair. They’re pretty nice, though the kids bother me sometimes when I’m trying to sleep.” Princess yawned once more.”Speaking of sleep…”Â
Pickles jumped from the ledge to the bush, staring into the garden. He had heard of it before of course, that was all any cat talked about these days. He had stared at it from time to time, but this was his first time getting a good look.
It was intimidating how many other cats there were there. Half of him wanted to go down and socialize, but the other half knew that this wasn’t the safe idea. Then the smell hit his nose. Food.
