1 逆転 (Gyakuten), lit. “complete reversal (of a situation)”. I thought this title sounded cool though!
2 下剋上 (Gekokujou), lit. “the low rules the high”. Used throughout this song, it’s a historical term first popularized after the Muromachi Shogunate was overthrown in the Ounin War (1467-1477). Notably, treachery from the daimyo’s own retainers as well as the success of ikko-ikki (self-governed leagues of peasants rebelling against their daimyo) was prevalent while Japan’s government was weakened in this period.
