you know. at first when i found out about juzi i sort of scoffed at it thinking it was just one of those "lets ship every single md character with each other" type of deals that wouldnt make much sense but. the more i think about the similarities between uzi and tessa it all starts making more sense to me.

j for some reason or another starts living with the others at the bunker/starts a somewhat friendly relationship with them to help her fix the spaceship and begins to realize that theres something about the weird drone who helped save all of their lives that slowly begins to bring back memories the more she spends time with her. so many parts of uzis personality and interests are painfully similar and j cant help but think of how uzi must have felt being so isolated and alone and having nobody to rely on or care about her until now. just like how tessa would feel when she was hiding under her own covers while j tried her best to help her. and over time j realizes that maybe uzi is someone else to protect too.
