Imagine dating a peacock hybrid who lives up to the drama queen reputation of his hybrid side, he needs to be told he's pretty, held and given your attention when your not working and sometimes even when you are, his tail must be complimented at least three times a day or he'll sulk and be petty till you successfully convince him you mean it when you tell him you love him.
You'd been on a video call with your new coworker, telling them about what they needed to know and how to catch up on the work that was likely dropped in their lap.
You'd told your boyfriend it was an important call and that you'd give him all your attention when it was over, but apparently that wasn't enough, as the moment he hears you laugh he's sulking in the doorway, looking like a soggy kitten as he sniffles and whines for you to pay attention to him.
As he rounds on your desk you smile at him, confused as the sulking turns to lidded annoyance, the coworker you were on video call with was another peacock hybrid, there's a moment of awkward silence as you place a hand on his arm and ask him if he's okay before he moves standing behind you with his arms wrapped around your shoulders, tail fully fanned open.
You finish up the video call with your partner behind you, trying your best to make light of the moment, unaware of the narrowed eyes and clear signs he was giving to the other peacock hybrid over the camera, as he hears you signing off on the call he smiles and cuts you off as he tells the other hybrid to ask another team member about his tasks before clicking the end call button. Shushing you slightly as he pulls your chair back and moves your desk's contents around to make space as he leans you forward, hand pressed to the back of your neck as he tugs down the pants you had on.
Muttering about other men and needing to know better, the fluttering adjustments of his tail are so loud as he leans forward bracketing you against the desk, sighing in your ear about how it's okay, he can make it clear to everyone that you're with him.
After all, he was the prettiest thing in your life, and not some limp tailed, dull feathered office floozy, waste of space and frathers...
I had this thought recently :p peacock hybrid who looooovvveeessss the attention he gets and is lowkey considered a womanizer. But he gets SO irritated when YOUâRE not looking at him, his beloved!!
Gets all huffy and upset and cries like a baby when heâs in you because pleasepleaseplease donât stop looking at him!
Okay but this would be so funny.
An absolute diva of a man, I can envision the hissy fit he'd throw, but I also see him being quite insecure cause of this need for attention.
-
You've watched him swan about for the last half an hour or so, socialising and chatting away with anyone that will pay him compliments.
At some point you'd let your attention drift elsewhere, more engrossed in the stuff on your phone than the peacock hybrid currently strutting around the room like he was king of the floor. The sound of feathers ruffling and shifting is what makes you look up, finding the peacock in question letting his tail fan and show off the flood of colourful feathers, yellow eyes sharp as he looks over at you, posed and primped I'm a way you can't help but smile at.
Your pretty bird is quite literally, a flare for the dramatic in any situation. Especially, if that situation is your eyes not being on him for even a second.
In the beginning you'd thought him just another peacock hybrid, too cocky, too proud, too loud, and too loose with who he gave his attention to. Yet, not long after you got to know him you realised he was all pomp, like glitter and smoke on a stage, all his glamour was a shield for the desperate need for attention he had. During a one on one with him you'd seen the nerves, the under of the loud bird he played up, he'd chewed his thumb and asked you endlessly if you wanted to be there with him, to spend time with him, almost immediately preening as you laughed softly and assured him you wanted to be with him.
Now here you are cupping his cheeks after a night out together, smiling up at him as he sobs between whimpers and moans, hips working overtime to keep you focused on the pleasure he is giving you as he calls your name.
Tears roll down his cheeks as he keeps begging you to never take your eyes off him, to always look at him like this, that he just can't go on without your eyes on him. His hands are bruising as he holds your hips, tail half fanned as he rattles the feathers using the sound to keep you watching him even as he fucks himself into overstimulation, desperate to make sure your watching him like he needs.

đ.. đđ..
From a young age he found that nights were far more bearable than the blinding rays of daylight- he didn't need to squint or shield himself from anything brighter than a lit candle, didn't end up with a headache after only a few minutes.
The water glistened as silver ribbons of moonlight swayed across the rippling surface, tall blades of grass swaying gracefully in the wind as hushed giggles and whispers pierced the still atmosphere. It was an easy scene for his sensitive eyes, somewhere to rest his sore senses.
You were very easy on the eyes.
His slender fingers intertwined in yours as you gently tugged him along, whispering promises of somewhere quiet and dull, nothing like that glittering hall overflowing with song, dance and chatter.
Oh, he could get used to this- your touch was so gentle and warm, your hold on him was firm yet careful as you guided him each step of the way. You were so attentive.
Eventually, he felt the ground beneath his feet became more even and he was no longer shuffling through branches and tall grass. But your hold on him remained firm, like you couldn't bring yourself to let go, that thought made his heart flutter as you came to a halt infront of him. You turned and took in the veiw, he followed your gaze- you both now a few feet away from a lake sprouting with lotus flowers and leaves, not that he could really appreciate the sight for himself, it blurred into a glimmering blur, but it was nice, so much nicer than that stuffy hall.
"Beautiful, isn't it? Nobody comes here, especially at night, you get the veiw all to yourself- and with the flowers in full blossom.." You trailed off, your voice contrasting against the crisp air. He looked back to you- you were practically soaking in what was infront of you, you weren't looking at him anymore, he looked where you were looking.
"I can imagine" He mumbled in response, soaking the silence and dim moonlight rather than anything else. The pungent scent of the blossoming lotus flowers wafted through the breeze.
You seemed to pause at his words, tearing your gaze away from the lake and back on him, you held his shakey gaze for a moment, clearly in thought for a moment before releasing his hand. He immediately reached to snatch your hand back but you moved quicker- he watched as your silhouette walked closer to the edge of the lake, a splash broke the silence.
After a few moments you can came to him, this time a little breathless and holding a flower. You held it out for him, and he took it, your hand was wet.
"See for yourself" He stared at the lotus in his hands. Wet, incredibly fragrant and undeniably beautiful. His gaze drifted back to your face- even in the dim moonlight, he could make out how you were grinning like an absolute fool.
"Your hair matches the colour of the petals, though the flower isn't quite as pretty as you" You mused, he could practically feel the burning of your gaze as it swept over his features, taking in the angles and curves of his under the moonlight.
Oh, he's definitely keeping you.

A/N: I am (temporarily) free from the shackles of school, ill finally sit down and get those oneshots I promised out, stay tuned to find out more...!
Also ignore grammer + spelling mistakes, apparently I can only write at night with no quality guarantees
You somehow have the amazing luck of spotting a beautiful bird while lounging on the balcony of your house.
Amazing luck for you, not so much for the bird, since the coloring of the feathers looks much more tropical than your home environment. It even looks a bit hurt, the way some of the feathers are astray, so you resolve to care for it.
How?
Bribery!
Over the course of a week you leave sweet fruits out and sit nearby so the bird comes to associate you with good things. While it still seemed wary, it let you take a closer look, as if sensing your good intentions. Another week spent talking to the bird, who you decide to name Kaveh, and you've gained a new friend!
Kaveh quickly becomes very used to your presence and your talking to him, and soon "talks" back. What's he talking about? Who knows, but you listen intently anyway, nodding and responding back.
You're eventually able to get Kaveh to perch on you and you finally get a good look at his feathers. Unfortunately some seem to be coming off from stress, and others from external force.
After calling the local wildlife center and describing Kaveh, you find out he's a Bird of Paradise. No wonder he looks so beautiful. In sad news, you also find out that his species are often hunted for their plumage (which explains the the pulled feathers...). He must have flown a long way from home just to get away from his pursuers. Does he even have a home anymore? A family? Friends?
With proper direction, you decide to rehabilitate Kaveh and then you'll worry about his home after.
You continue to talk to him, feed him fruits, let him out to fly around and tell him he's a pretty birdie (he appreciates the compliments). In return, he "talks" back while making sure to share all his thoughts with you. He apparently has a lot to say about your home decor. Too many times did you walk into the living room to find the pillows rearranged and a proud bird sitting on the arm of the couch.
Doesn't this look much better now that he's reorganized it? (SOMEHOW you see his vision...) Eventually Kaveh moves on to critiquing the bowls you deliver his fruit in. You quickly find out he has a lot of opinions on all things decorative, INCLUDING architecture.
Speaking of architecture, you allow Kaveh to make a nest in your house. Well, once you figure out why he didn't do it already. Birds of Paradise make nests in the forks of trees and there was nothing tall OR forked for him to nest.
In order to remedy that, you get a sturdy coat hanger and set it on top of an old box of stuff you're never going to end up clearing anyway...
Kaveh quickly gets to work making a nest with all the soft things you've prepared for him. He also goes outside to search for his own personal touches. While he LOVES using the things you give him, he needs the nest to feel like him, too.
Whenever he loses a feather, he brings them to you. These are the very things his kind are hunted for, so you treat each feather as a precious gift. If you decide to make them into a necklace or a pair of earrings or or a hairpiece, Kaveh will be VERY happy
He loves that you appreciate his gifts and you're looking very stylish yourself With his feathers on you, you sort of...hm....you sort of look like you've chosen him. He tells you all about how happy he is.
Kaveh really gets used to being with you, and he's hoping just a bit, that he never gets stress free so you'll need to care for him. But largely he knows he doesn't belong here with you and that it's not right to make you worry over him.
Maybe the solution comes in the form of a sudden and quite rude guest (in Kaveh's opinion)...
Alhaitham's part will be soon! I'm doing the research!
dont know about the humming birdbut i can DEFINITELY do peaCOCK yandere
in a world of demihumans, male peacocks are known for their bright and vibrant feathers. it is said that these feathers are usef to scare predators away and to attract any potential mates. however, in a society where looks are becoming more of the main focus, male peacocks have started to just use their flamboyant feathers to appear, well, more flamboyant. especially that one, your neighbour.
he's a flamboyant man, that's for sure.
he moved in next door and you haven't really saw him much. that was, until, he heard your singing and went 'holy crap, you're a beautiful singer'. well actually, you don't know if he said that. but he only started showing interest in you after you caught him standing outside the door to your karaoke room.
conveniently enough, that was when he started showcasing his... army of feathers, passing by your door several times as other neighbours complained about him blocking up the whole damn hallway. you live in a tiny apartment complex after all. that meant tiny hallways and little to no space to walk if someone decided to spread his feathers and pace up and down a certain door.
you don't know what to do except tell him you're not interested repeatedly. because let's be honest, do you really think this guy is gonna leave even after you reject him? he's just going to come back for seconds and say that he's simply showing his feathers because they're beautiful! not because he wants to woo you...
that definitely didn't happen already. yup, definitely not.
a quiet sigh escapes your lips as you lock your front door like you always do. lately though, you think that your door might be broken. it's always open whenever you return from your job. did you not lock it tightly enough? also for some reason there's always a hint of expensive floral fragance in the air. were you hallucinating? maybe a neighbour just bought some flowers?
well whatever, you'll just get a locksmith to see to your lock soon. maybe this weekend? as for the floral scent, it's no big deal. the scent is rather pleasant so you don't mind.
"heading to work, beautiful?"
you nod your head. yeah... another day of work at your boring job. you're really wasting your potential as a hummingbird demihuman. you could've been a famous singer by now!
orrrr... maybe not. you'd lose all your privacy if you became famous. no way in hell did you want that.
"be careful my pretty, i heard there's been a ton of accidents on the road these days. wouldn't want my neighbour to get hurt now, huh?"
oh how considera-
and there he was, flashing his damned feathers at you as a mysterious sparkle flashes around him. this... this stupid golden light that seemed to shine down on him, illuminating his godly sculpted features even more.
what a damn adonis.
no, he's more like narcissus. always admiring his beauty. you swear you've caught him staring at himself in a mirror store before while out shopping. that was one hell of a time.
you deadpan at him for a moment, just staring as he strikes pose after pose, body carefully twisted in such a way that would show off not only his feathers, but also his slender body. he's gorgeous, you have to admit that.
your peacock neighbour deflates IMMEDIATELY, lips turning down into a pout as his feathers grow soft, falling down behind him. do his feathers act like a dick? you've always wondered that. they get hard and erect and soft sometimes. maybe you should ask him that someday.
"yeah, i have work dude. i'll be late if i stall any longer."
you waste not a single second before leaving him behind to pout childishly as a dark aura envelops him. you swear you even heard him mutter something about showing your boss who's in charge. what a weirdo. how would he even know who your boss is? dumbass.
what a weirdo your neighbour is, am i right fellas? definitely don't want him as your secret stalker, that's for sure! haha!
One of your close friends sent you the article as a joke, it was some shitty manosphere blog that had made a very click bait heavy post about your boyfriend and his business.
Rolling your eyes you read through the absolute slop that they had posted, snorting as they call him an 'alpha of the generation' and 'model masculinity' just because he looked the part of stereotypical manly CEO, if only these slop writers could see him the moment it's not boardrooms and meeting with big conglomerates for custom made CRM software. Then they'd see just how manly their 'alpha CEO' really was, especially since he wasn't even at work currently but tied down to your bed with a custom made gag in his mouth shuddering through his sixth ruined orgasm of the evening.
Looking down at him, your phone in one hand and the vibrating wand in the other he looks debauched.
His hair is a sweaty mess with strands clinging to his forehead, neck, and cheeks, thin lines of drool leak from his gag spread lips, there's tears being absorbed by the blindfold over his eyes. But even as you check in with him and make sure he's good to keep going the warbling sound that almost makes the form of your name and 'yes please!' is anything but the macho CEO the article your still scrolling through depicts.
Tipping the wand back towards the tip of his cock, you begin reading out all the silly buzzwords and shitty drivel that the post used for him, watching as his hands clench and his stomach muscles twitch as you click the speed up a notch or two, smiling as his tail fans just a little under him as you begin to comment along with the article. When they call him a real man you coo down at him about how if he's such a big, strong man and can definitely take another two rounds with the wand, taking in each sniffling nod as encouragement to keep going.
Maybe you should ask your friend to find another one of these slop articles about your boyfriend...
This one just wasn't long enough to get through two more rounds, and you really were looking to break in this wand properly.
I have a good idea: harpy smut. Idk but I love the idea, and donât call me weird cuz I know you be reading Cat hybrid and WOLF Bunny tropes but hey, no judgement.
Itâs just a bird hybrid.
Like imagine a Harpy having a hard time finding a mate like a WhitePeacock or an Obese Harpy.
White Peacock hybrid who canât mate due to the fact his feathers bring no entertainment or visual appeal.
White Peacock hybrid who FINALLY attracted a mate only for them to be human. And he loves them so dearly.
White Peacock hybrid who pricks and preens his feathers constantly, being perfect just for their mate.
White peacock hybrid who is clueless and confused on how to properly court or mate. Heâs seen the colourful hybrids court but he was too blinded by envy to really notice what they were doing. So he collects things he thinks youâll love.
White peacock hybrid who loves dry humping. Itâs a way he can hide heâs inexperience. Oh, and he also loves it when you preen his feathers. He makes you save them and spreads them around you in the bed whenever you to get intimate.
Or
Obese Bird Hybrid that attempts to hunt for his newfound mate. He always had a hard time hunting but that never stopped him from eating, heâs just too cute not to feed!
Heâs always wanted another hybrid mate but theyâre more traditional. But when it came to non hybrids they adored him, taking him on dates or buying things for him, mostly snacks. Thatâs why heâs so chubby đ although heâs not fond of mating with them he appreciates the gifts and courtships. But when he dates his human mate he must demonstrate how he can provide.
Obese Bird hybrid who shrinks in shame whenever you bring home food or gifts (itâs literally js takeout food) believing youâre telling him youâre the dominant in the relationship.
Obese Bird Hybrid who sings to you in hopes youâll swoon to one of his talents. He knits, he (tries) to bake. But he still doesnât get the dominant satisfaction heâs craving.
Obese Bird Hybrid who has a hard time communicating his feelings to you ending up in arguments, causing him to stress out and binge for another week. But with you around, you make sure he doesnât do anything rash and protect his feelings, switching out his high calorie food for lower healthier snacks made by you
Obese Bird Hybrid Who sings off harmony while you ride him. To him, youâre still asserting dominance, taking the lead and taking the one thing he desires: Dominance
Thinking about a peacock hybrid- in this world peafowl hybrids are known for their striking beauty and culture. With the males of course taking the spotlight for their vibrantly coloured feathers.
The brighter the better. That's how the beauty standard is in avian society, the sentiment was especially seen in peafolk culture.
But imagine a peacock with no beautiful colours, no glimmering feathers, no chance of beating the competition..
đ... đđ..
Tall tiled walls encrusted with gold, enamel and gems to display ornate patterns of all that was beautiful and bright, shimmering and glowing under the flickering candle light like stars, a kaleidoscope of colours dancing across him and the marble floor beneath his feet. The detailed pattern was lost on him, the intricacies were blurred, all his eyes could catch was the hues of red, blues and greens. There was so, so much colour. It was definitely not a sight for sore eyes.
The music, he could make make out the sweet melody over the rhythmic clicking of feet, hushed words and the jingle of bangles and anklets. Everyone seemed to be having the time of ther lives, each direction he looked he could make out graceful movements and impressed smiles and praise.
He stood out like a sore thumb.
It wasn't that he couldn't dance, that he lacked charm, lacked an angelic voice, it wasn't beauty that he lacked- it was the bronze tone to his skin, the iridescent sheen to his hair, the vivid hue to his eyes that others could get lost in. He was colourless, beautiful?Definitely, but not the standard. It didn't matter how graceful his movements were, how sweetly he sang, he just didn't have the radiance of the other peacocks. It wasn't a particularly sore spot for him, just an unfortunate fact.
The temptation to flee the banquet hall, to hide out somewhere where the beauty of the bright and radiant couldn't mock him, where the flickers of colour and light couldn't burn his eyes. He turned around, fully intent with his decision find a dull hall or corner to soothe the ache in his skull- outside maybe? Yes, outside seemed like the best option, with just the moon to indulge his senses. An obstacle stood between him and relief.
You.
You stood infront of him, looking at him- he could feel the burning intensity of your gaze as your eyes looked him up and down, appreciating how the hues of flickering colour danced across his pale hair and glimmered in his lilac eyes.
He opened his mouth to say something, maybe to tell you to move, or ask what you're staring at. You beat him to it before he could even muster a sound.
"You're beautiful"
He knew that, he just didn't expect you to get straight to the point. He fluttered his lashes, trying to blink away the haze as he tried focused on you, though unable to make out the exact angles and curves of your features, he could tell you were smiling.
A small, coy smile spread across his features. He preened at the attention, absorbing your praise like a flower to water, tilting his head sideways as he held your gaze. "I know"
Is this how the other dancers felt? When after a performance, particularly interested guests lathered them in praise and attention. He never really got to enjoy those ego-inflating moments, the after parties were often too bright, he found himself retiring too early to really grab his share of flattery.
He could make out how your smile seemed to grow wider at his reaction. He glanced around- not that he could make out anything, everything blurred into one vibrant mass of continuous movement and sound, that alone showed him the party would be fine without him, he shifted his focus back to you.
"Would you like to join me outside?" He asks with a voice laced with fatigue and that same coy smile. Maybe tonight he'd get his share of flattery. To his delight, you nodded.

I like him, should I elaborate more on him? Would anyone be interested in that?
Should I do more short drabbles or oneshots like this? I have more stuff in the making but I wanted to know if people would be interested in these mini ideas I have, ignore any mistakes i wrote and edited this fighting sleep
Also please tell me if my attempt at an albino character is in anyway offensive, inaccurate or disrespectful! I'll make changes immediately!
This floor is full of I.T and other introverted office roles, yet there is a peacock hybrid strutting around just outside the glass wall that separates the offices from the elevators, chatting away on the phone. Just waltzing back and forth, tail feathers flicking and swaying as he turns to follow the same path, your coworkers have all been sharing glances, hand gestures, and raised eyebrows.
None of them wants to be the one to go and talk to the loud bird hybrid; in fact, one by one, they have begun gesturing at you.
As one of three humans on this floor, you sigh, sagging into your seat before pinching the bridge of your nose and huffing that you will go talk to him. The chorus of 'thank you' and 'I'll buy a drink for this' that is muttered behind you is almost loud enough that you don't have to stoop down to hear them as you pass by. Swinging the glass door to the office area open, you sigh and stand up straight, unsure of the peacock's role or job title. You opt for polite but questioning as you call out to him, watching as he turns around and lights up.
As you walk closer, he seems to circle you in a way that puts his back towards the glass wall, blocking off the view your coworkers would have as he shakes his shoulders and lets his tail fan wide. He spreads his arms and strikes, what you would call a pose of sorts, flicking his hair and tilting his head just so as he makes his intentions clear.
He came for you.
Even with the look of disbelief and social reluctance on your face, he continues, bold and prideful, asking if you would grace him with a date the coming weekend.
Only when you don't immediately respond does he begin to falter, smile shaking and face twitching as nerves begin to set in. You didn't say anything because you didn't know what to say. Standing still and staring at him, you have to hold back a little bit of laughter as he steps closer, peacock bravado gone as he whispers to please say something, anything...
You mumble a soft 'sure' if only to stop this grown hybrid man from crying in front of the elevators.
ă»â„ C/W: Insecurity (on reader's side), he's kind of mean at first, spelling + grammar mistakes i wrote this half asleep
.. đ .. đđ
Unlike most couples, your first meeting with your husband was far from sweet.
You were barely getting by, mentally at your lowest. A lackluster student at some medicore University, you weren't anything special- mediore grades, mediocre looks, mediocre personality.
The constant weight of survival on your shoulders. Juggling a part time job, classes and studying- with a measly few hours for your sleep and eating, and maybe if you were really, really lucky, the opportunity to breathe for just a minute. You're balancing on a tight rope destined to snap.
You were hoping the tight rope would atleast hold on a little longer. It snapped, but the fall wasn't quite as bad as you were expecting.
After another soul sucking shift at your part time job, you made your way to the train station. Dragging your feet along the pavement, limbs heavy and head aching, the cold autumn wind blowing against your face as the streetlights flickers. Finally, you arrived at the station to see-
You missed your train.
You barely had time to react before the train doors closed and the vehicle began to move. It was the last train for the night.
The world really just enjoyed making life hard for you.
"... ew"Â
You snapped your head around to the sound of anothers voice. You made direct eye contact with him, woah- you'd never seen someone so beautiful even whilst making such a disgusted face. If it weren't for the fact you were unfortunately very much sober and awake, you'd thing he was some exhaustion induced hallucination. Like seriously, how could someone look so elegant under artificial lighting in a dingy train station this late.
You immediately wiped your eyes, huh? They were wet. You hadn't even realised you had started crying- is that what he was so disgusted by? A part of you felt humiliated to be so pathetic infront of someone so pretty. But honestly, you were past the point of caring.
Your shoulders began to shake, your vision began to blur further and you let out a pathetic whine- you were ugly crying at god knows what hour, in a dingy train station, infront of the most beautiful stranger you had ever seen.
He stares at you blankly for a few moments, eyebrow raised and wondering if he should leave. The group he had been clubbing with had failed to entertain him in the slightest and dragged him out later than he wanted, so he ditched them and went to the nearest train station.
Unfortunately for him, he had missed the train for the night- now he was stuck here with some snotty stranger who he couldn't tell was sober or not.
He watched as you pitifully wiped your streaked cheeks, continuing to sniffle and hic.
"Frick my life, can I just die already.." You whimpered into your palms. That... that was the funniest thing he had heard all night.
Suddenly the sound of your crying was outshined by an almost wicked cackle. You looked at the stranger again, this time he was laughing, at you, like you crying was the funniest thing he had seen all night.
Unbeknownst to you, it was the funniest thing he had seen all night. You had made him laugh harder than any of those low lives he hung out with for entertainment.
At his laughter you started crying harder- a pang of pity hit his heart as he wiped his tears. Reaching into his jacket pocket he pulled out a small antibacterial wipe pack, for when he needed to wipe down any area his "friends" has touched.
"Unfortunately I don't carry any tissues with me in this moment- hopefully this will do" He chuckled under his breath, more to himself than to you as he pinched your sleeve to pull your hand away from your face, using the wipe to carefully wipe your snotty nose.
You let him, having no energy to fight being cooed over by a stranger. He pulled away and inspected your face, taking note of something before he tossed the used wipe aside into the near by bin and reached into his pocket.
Pulling out his phone, one of the latest models might I add, you got scared for a second that he was going to take a photo of you teary and sour faced. He punched in a few digits, bringing the phone to his ear as he tugged you by the arm outside the station. "What's your address? Let me call you a taxi and drop you home"
ïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïčïč
You thought he was mean after that- he laughed at you crying, of course you were going to be salty.
But it was short lived, that's because your husband, despite how gaudy and shallow he seemed at first, was incredibly sweet. You found yourself recivecing regular good morning texts after he took your phone right from your hands and punched in your digits into his phone, he'd invite you out and feed you meals and desserts from all sorts of nice places and most importantly, he played games with you.
You found yourself hanging out less with your friends, not because you didn't love them but because it just felt so nice to have someone's undivided attention, someone's interest for something more than just to see if you'll cover their shift, if you have the notes they wanted.
Right now, four years later with a wedding ring and all cozy in bed, you couldn't be any more content with life.
"Okay, I got some dye and wool- I'm gonna set spawn in our base now.." you mumbled to yourself, laser focused on the screen as you popped the dye, wool and wood you had skillfully gathered into the crafting table and made yourself a bed in your signature colour. Placing it into the corner of the house your husband had built whilst you worked on a farm.
Just as you did so, your husband's avatar came beside you and placed down a purple bed beside yours. His avatar turned to face you, you turned to face him where he sat beside you on the bed.
"There, now we're next to each other" He met your gaze with a smile, his laptop resting on his stomach. You squealed and leaned in to press against the side of his face, clamping your teeth down on the fat of his cheek.
Your grip on the steering wheel was limp as several gruelling hours worth of exhaustion fogged your brain, leaving you sluggish and dreary. The sky was dim, the moon smothered by grey clouds, the winter chill made itself known despite the heavy coat you wore.
The weighed silence was accompanied by only the rumble of the car engine as city lights slowly devolved into streetlights, each quickly passing by, one by one- you counted each, each one marking your proximity to home, to the only place you could breathe.
You hadn't bothered turning on the heating, didn't bother with your playlist. You just wanted to leave. Those extra hours practically wore you down to the bone.
The rumble of the engine came to a stop, leaving you in a deafening silence as the glow from a streetlight came in through the car window. You let out a heavy sigh, forehead pressed against the leather of the steering wheel. At long last, you were home.
Each step up felt like singular drops of rain on the lips of a man dying of thirst. Your knees quivered with each step up, keys jingling as you hobbled, eager to be used. The broken elevator was just salt and spice in already bloody, sore wounds. Thank god you only lived on the third floor.
Finally, door number 21. Finally, the thirsty man could drink; no longer did the crisp, cold air come prickling at your skin, the warmth embraced you as you stepped inside your apartment, the faint scent of something tasty wafted through the air. Your senses finally met the familiar feeling of home as the door clicked shut behind you, bag dropping to the floor and shedding your coat in an instant.
You froze where you stood, you locked eyes with a familiar pretty face staring at you from the living room armchair with a glare so sharp you were glad looks couldn't kill, because if they could you'd be dead where you stood.
"You're late."
You whinced at the harsh tone.
And with, that those two words caused the dam to burst. Your eyes began to burn as your living room became blurred, your bottom lip began to uncontrollably quiver, face scrunching up as your shoulders began to shake. Before you knew it, you were crying in your doorway. You had been so caught up in work, so exhausted you had forgot to mention you'd come home late.
Your husbands sharp glare softened instantly upon seeing your face scrunch up into an ugly, teary frown. His arms unfolded from his chest as he softened his posture, patting his thigh with a coo, beckoning.
You didn't hesitate, not even bothering to kick off your outside shoes you scrambled over to where he sat. Your knees finally giving out under you, pressing your head against the plush of his lap as you hiccuped and sobbed into the silk of his bathrobe. He couldn't really make out your muffled whimpers, really only understanding the words "overtime", "sorry" and "tired".
"Oh sweetheart- my poor dear, what did they do to you, did someone say something? Was it your boss again?" His warm, manicured fingers stoked the top of your head tenderly, not at all phased by the snot and tears dampening his silk robe.
His hands lifted your head up, forcing you to look up at him- he couldn't help but coo at how utterly soggy you looked, cheeks tear stained, nose all snotty and eyes glossy and red. "You poor dear, did that horrible job of yours keep you back again?" You nodded. "My sweet darling, you can't even begin to imagine all the things that were racing through my mind- i thought you had run away, found some subpar ditz to entertain yourself with, that you had tried to leave me"
His lips pressed against your forehead, then the tip of your nose then your cheeks and finally, your lips- peppering you with his signature red lipstick. "I considered going out there and dragging you back myself, oh I was tempted to throttle you when you walked in- but I should've known you're too precious to ever do anything so cruel to me, you're as sweet and as soft as sugar"
You were tugged upwards by your underarms like a shivering pup being picked after a bath. He tugged you up onto his lap, you crawled up without complaint- burying your face into the crook of his neck as your legs dangled off the armrest, his arms wrapped around you tight, cradling you like a baby. There was no way you'd be able to wriggle your way out of his grasp, and you didn't want to either.
He rested his head ontop of yours, perfectly formed curls getting squished in the process but that wasn't what he was focused on. How could he even think a hapless, placid thing like you even think about straying from him? He kissed the crown of your head a few times, you cries now just sniffles and whines.
That's not to say he wasn't still mad you didn't message to say you'd be late, but he'd deal with that later, oh and he made a mental note to nag you for the shoes on the carpet too.

AN SO i haven't done the selkie in a while, and i haven't done a more bolder one yet and had the song 'Home by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros' play so that has smth to do with this-
.
..
Kaelen had been unusually quiet all afternoonâstill smiling, still bright with that sunny selkie energy, but softer. Like waves that reached the shore with a hush instead of a roar.
You found him kneeling on the wet sand, drawing slow looping shapes with one finger. Symbols that looked like waves curling into themselves, hooks of tide, spirals that tugged your gaze inward.
When he heard your steps, he looked up with a small, almost shy smile.
âYou came,â he murmured, brushing wet hair out of his eyes. âGood. Iâve⊠been practicing.â
âPracticing what?â you asked, kneeling beside him.
He hesitated. His fingers danced over the sand, almost unconsciously tracing smaller versions of the shapes beneath him.
âMy language,â he admitted. âOur language. Selkies donât write muchâwe mark. We guide meaning through shape. Through intent.â He swallowed, cheeks warming. âAnd I wanted to show you something. If you want to see.â
Your heart tugged. âKaelen, of course I want to see.â
His entire expression softenedâtension melting like seafoam.
âO-okay,â he said, voice gentle. âThis one⊠I made it for you.â
He leaned forward and smoothed the sand with his palm. Then, in careful strokes, he drew:
A curling wave. A dot placed just inside the curve. A line beneath it, long and steady. Then two short lines branching upward like hands reaching for someone.
âIt meansâŠâ He paused, the tips of his ears reddening. ââŠsafe. Or⊠âyouâre a place Iâm safe.â Itâs a warm word.â
He didnât look at you. He played nervous circles with his thumb over the sand.
âI wanted you to learn it because you⊠you make my chest feel full in the way the word means.â He finally glanced up, eyes shimmering like tidewater in sunlight. âI thought you should know.â
You traced the symbol with your fingertip. âShow me another.â
âOh.â His voice squeaked. âUm. Really?â
âYes,â you said softly. âShow me more.â
He swallowed again, harder this time.
âO-okay⊠here. This one meansâŠâ
He drew a spiral folding inward, like a seashell turned tight.
ââŠâstay.â Not like a command. More like⊠âIâm glad youâre here.â Or⊠âI want you beside me.ââ
His cheeks were pink now. âWe only mark it for people we⊠um⊠really want close.â
Your warmth must have reached him because he squirmed slightly, flustered.
You leaned closer. âKaelen⊠can you show me something affectionate? Something selkies say to someone they care about?â
He made a noise between a hiccup and a sputter.
âW-Weâuhâthose are⊠those are private words,â he stammered. âVery intimate. VeryâŠâ
He curled his hands into the sand.
ââŠvery.â
You smiled. âI wonât laugh. I want to learn.â
He inhaled slowly. Then he used both handsâas if needing the groundingâto draw the next symbol.
A crescent. A dot above it. A gentle curve intersecting, like two tides touching.
He drew it more carefully than the others.
âThis one isâŠâ He exhaled shakily. âItâs something like⊠âmy tide⊠meets yours.â Itâs⊠an affection-word. Deep affection.â His voice broke a little on the last two words. âWe only draw it for someone we⊠choose.â
You touched the completed symbol. âAnd youâd teach that to me?â
He nodded, but his whole face had gone pink.
âI want to,â he whispered. âYou donât have toâreturn it. Or say it back. I just wanted you to know it exists.â
You leaned closer, brushing your fingers against the damp sand between his. âKaelen.â
He froze.
âYes?â he whispered.
You carefully drew the same symbol beside hisâshaky lines, crooked arcs, but clear.
And the breath left him.
His hands hovered, trembling, before he cupped yours gently between his palmsâlike holding something sacred.
âYou drew it,â he breathed.
His voice turned warm, awestruck, cracking around the edges.
âYou drew it for me.â
You squeezed his hands. âTeach me more?â
He made a tiny, choked noise of joy.
âYes,â he whispered, forehead pressing to yours. âAnything. Everything. All of it. My whole language.â
A soft laugh slipped into his words. âIâm yours to teach.â
How would your yandere's react to the y/n pepping there face with kisses?
Oooooo this is fluff material!!
Yan! Emperor is ready. He insists he's ready but still gets red in the face with your kisses. How can he not? When you're gently placing each kisses on his skin, and he's getting more and more flushed.
Yan! Professor is smug. You probably didn't know his real identity (yet). He's just your boyfriend, nothing weird. But having you kiss his 'fake' face brings him more happiness than he should've admitted.
Yan! Commissioner is going to cry. It's been years since the two of you have been intimate (the last is literally you two having sex which resulted in him getting pregnant with the twins), so when you're kissing him slowly, he's sobbing and crying already. The kids are disgusted by the kisses (the twins thinks it's cute but can you two do it on the bedroom?? While daughter is annoyed because you're forgiving him way too quickly.)
Yan! Seahorse wags his tail like an eager puppy. He immediately brightened up, and he lets out soft yet excited coos. He'll demand for more, making smooch lips everytime you're near.
Yan! Selkie really appreciates your gesture. He's overworked most of the time, so receiving some love and affection calms him down. Though if platonic yan! Toddler sees it, he'll demand kisses too, from both parents.
Yan! Duke is elated. He'll kiss your face back and cuddle you like a snake. He'll be gone in ten minutes and soon, your husband insists on having more kisses. You're starting to suspect that either he has a mental problem, or... Something else is happening here.
Yan! Vampire hunter is so sure you're not gonna do it. And he doesn't get kisses from you, he gets BITES. Nasty bites that keeps his skin strained and his muscles sore. At least Charlotte comes to peck his cheek every night before sleep. That's enough kisses for him.
Yan! Conglomerate is going to give you expensive lipstick just to make sure the marks stayed on his face. He just likes seeing himself draped with your kiss marks.
Yan! Yakuza is already used to it. You're very shy but also very affectionate. You love giving him kisses, and he loves receiving them! So he wouldn't even refuse. He'll sit, relax, and hum whenever you stop your kissing to talk about something.
I recent found a new yan! fic about yandere merpeople on quotev and it's been living rent free in my mind.
Now as I'm writing this I'm thinking about all sorts of ways to mash up all the yandere types together (e.g. jock, nerd, florist, baker, etc.) into one spicy yandere merman au and I'm frothing at the mouth
Also, for this post only, I'm allowing y'all to send me any further ideas or brainrots you want to discuss via inbox!
Content Warning: Implied cannibalism? for the last one - is it cannibalism tho if it's a siren posing as a human? hm...
Consider:
BufF Yandere!Merman, perhaps a shark or whale or octopus or even giant squid merman in a modern Little Mermaid type of story - a yandere!merman who falls in love with a human who happened to have the misfortune of meeting him during a class beach trip or just a hangout with their friends. What better way to join their world than to become human and enrol in the human's school/college/uni?
Yandere!Florist!Selkie who's taken a liking to land flora and has spent half their life on land with a seaside flower shop. He truly finds humans and their plants so fascinating and beautiful! It's all perfect until he meets a human who catches his eye. He feels almost at home with them! Sure, he enjoys being on land and meeting new people and learning about plants, but he's never felt like he truly belonged. It's so rare to meet a human like this, so knowledgeable about plants, both aquatic and land! He's practically throwing himself at you, thirsting for the knowledge you have as well as your company. If this keeps up any longer, he might just drag you back to the ocean with him.
Yandere!Chef!Siren who is a little less vicious than most of his kind, in fact, he's found a way to survive on land AND use his powers! No, of course he's not luring and eating humans, what are you talking about?? He's only using his powers for fishing, and using the large and varied bounty of fish he frequently gathers to operate a seaside restaurant famous for ridiculously good seafood. Although of course... sometimes he can't help but lure a curious employee of customer to the back to just... take a quick snack after hours. Perhaps he becomes obsessed with the new chef of his, who so fervently demanded that he hire them and take them as his apprentice. He seems to know his way so well around seafood, and who's better than him to train them? Perhaps over time he finds his mouth feeling a little itchy, wanting to sink his teeth into his little apprentice's neck, and mark them as his...

The heavens weep their cold tears as you make your way down the coastline, an umbrella in hand. The raindrop pelts harshly against the cheap plastic of your umbrella as the moonlight weakly lights the path ahead of you from behind the clouds.
Youâre not quite sure what compelled you to venture out in such heavy rain or what keeps you from turning around and walking home but when you see the unfortunate sight a couple steps before you, perhaps it was a good idea you came out after all.
Frustrated growls and gruff barks reach your ears as a large seal thrashes around on the shore, struggling to free itself from the net that ensnares its flippers and tail. Its efforts are in vain as it seemingly tangles itself more and more in the net with every movement, its vocalisations growing increasingly distressed.Â
You rush over, determined to free the poor seal. Sensing a potential threat, the seal looks straight at you approaching amidst its struggle and tries to shuffle away, frightened.
âHey, hey, itâs alright, Iâm trying to help you out.â Your words seem to soothe as it cautiously observes you when you slowly move in closer, making no attempts to try to attack you. While you try to work its flippers out of the net, you realise that the earlier thrashing had complicated the entanglement, resulting in multiple knots and loops that are too hard to undo with one hand.Â
Sighing, you set your umbrella aside to free up your other hand, angling it and propping it up in the wet sand so as to block as much of the rain as possible. Despite your umbrella, the chilling rain gradually starts to seep through your clothes as you aid the seal. It eyes you curiously, surprisingly calm, even going so far as to lifting the flipper youâre working the net off of.Â
Now that youâre a lot closer, you also take the time to examine the seal for any other injuries. Its fur is a shade of silvery grey, with some symmetrical markings or patterns on its belly that almost glow in the dim moonlight.Â
After a couple minutes, the seal is freed from the net entirely and you bundle the fabric in your arm to dispose of properly later, your other hand holding your umbrella again. Standing, you watch on as it hurries to the shoreline and ventures beyond the waves, going back to its watery habitat. Swimming further out, the seal suddenly stops and turns back to stare at you for a second. Then, it nods towards you, as if thanking you for your help before quickly diving underwater.
Assured that the seal is safe now, you turn and begin to head back home. Although youâre soaked to the bone, a pleasant emotion arises in you from your good deed and the supposed show of gratitude you received in the end. And maybe the heavens are smiling upon you! The downpour immediately starts to clear up, the rain clouds dissipating from the sky, revealing the moon hiding behind them and lighting your way home.
(Unbeknownst to you, a sharp pair of pale lavender eyes emerge from the depths, eyeing you as you leave.)
The next time you find yourself strolling along the beach, the evening sky is mostly clear, save for a few heavy rain clouds that look to be gathering at the edge of the horizon, slowly rolling in. You recall the seal from before and thereâs an unexplainable tugging to go back to that location, even though youâre not exactly sure what you hope to find.
After that night, youâve looked for information regarding seals congregating along that coast but unable to find any records or news about seals in your local natural ecosystem, you dismissed it as some sort of cosmic coincidence that your walk would end with you freeing a seal.
The seal would be nice to see once more though what you actually do see instead is a little stranger than anything you were expecting.
Thereâs an odd person loitering near the water where you freed the seal. Bizarrely enough, heâs donning a sopping wet yet extravagant fur coat. Water drips from his long hair however, he doesnât seem to mind it at all. Heâs incredibly out of place but his face doesnât show it, even as you try your best not to stare. Rather, he opens his mouth to ask, (you get a flash of fangs), his voice a soothing timbre.
âApologies. I'm new around here and I seem to have gotten lost. May I trouble you for directions?â
A couple questions zip around in your head: How did he end up at the beach? Did he go swimming in his fur coat? Is he not cold? Realising that youâve been staring at his fur coat all this time and not speaking, you awkwardly clear your throat and ultimately settle with saying, âI think we'd better dry you off first before you catch a cold.â
Thankfully, thereâre still cafes open along the more crowded area of the beach. After getting him a hot drink of his choice to warm himself up (an order for a cup of hot water definitely raised some eyebrows), you ask him to stay put before going to fetch a couple towels from a nearby beach kiosk for him to dry off.
âThank you for all the help you have extended to me despite this being your first time meeting me,â he says, his tone sincere as he dries his hair, having finished his cup of water.
âItâs no problem really, Iâm pretty sure most wouldâve helped you out too. How did you end up so soaked in the first place?â
âAh, itâs a bit much to talk about-â he cuts himself off, â-Where are my manners, I have not introduced myself yet. I am Neuvillette.â A quick handshake, introductions and small talk exchanged, a friend gained.
The two of you talk until youâre ushered out by the cafe staff and agree to meet again next week at this cafe to spend more time together.Â
You find yourself looking forward to the days with Neuvillette, no matter the activity. (Strangely, on the days youâre unable to meet up with Neuvillette, the weather forecast never matches up, the skies always overcast with dark clouds.)
An additional fun treat is that every time the both of you meet, he never fails to regale you with fantastical tales, with myths and legends from the unfathomable depths of merfolk and sea monsters, each tale more and more outlandish and wondrous than the last. The details that he injects to his stories are so intricate that youâd almost believe he was recounting them from personal experience itself.
The agenda for todayâs hangout: Bring him around the local aquarium! A leisurely stroll whilst admiring the sealife, listening to his informative explanations on how the marine ecosystem functions, how everything has a crucial part to play in it. But your day gets a lot better when your Neuvie mysteriously draws the attention of the seals when the both of you walk past them. The lovable blobs bounce up to him, as near as possible, gleefully barking away, trying to get his attention.
You laugh as you watch on at the display, âLooks like Iâve managed to catch myself a seal prince!â
His face heats up at your remark, a light hue of pink dusting his cheeks at the commotion from the seals. He musters up a weak chuckle as he meets your eyes.
âAnd perhaps you have.âÂ
The seals glance between the two of you and somehow manage to bark even louder, some even clapping their flippers against their bodies. Once youâve decided that it was enough embarrassment for your poor Neuvie, taking his hand in yours, you lead him off to the next section of the aquarium. Your hand brushes against the sleeves of his fur coat that he constantly wears. (His fingers entwine with yours, his grip secure.)
By the time you finish touring the entire aquarium, itâs the late evening, the street lights already lit as the dinner crowd mills about for a place to dine in.
Over the course of dinner, he sneaks little glances at you between bites of his food, smiling slightly when you catch him red-handed but never saying whatâs on his mind. Itâs only when the two of you are walking out of the restaurant, he works up the nerve to ask.
âWe have been seeing each other for some time now, and I hope that I am not overstepping to suggest,â his cheeks flush, âthat perhaps we could take this to another levelâŠâ
His breath catches when he feels your hand finding his as you say, âMy place then?âÂ
The instant you lead him into your home and room, you press your lips against his and revel in the small clipped moan you manage to drag out of him. Neuviellette doesnât seem to be experienced, given the sloppy way he kisses you back and how you can feel him beginning to grind against your thigh between his legs. When you pull away, heâs panting, pupils dilated as he chases after you.
âYour first time, Neuvie?â
âAh. Yes⊠my deepest apologies if I do not manage to satisf-â You stop him before he can finish his sentence, shushing him with a quick kiss.
âShush, Neuvie, itâs nothing to apologise for. If anything, Iâm honoured to be your first,â you tuck a hair behind his ear, leaning in to whisper, your tone teasing, âIn fact, I think teaching you allll about it might just be even better âĄâ
Soon, you have him knelt between your legs as you sit on the edge of the bed, guiding your cock to his lips.
âWatch your fangs now, Neuvie.âÂ
He flicks his tongue out, swirling it around the head, licking at it before his lips close around your tip. True to your words, heâs careful about his fangs as slowly, he takes you into his mouth. A low groan filters through the air when you feel his tongue press up against the underside of your length.
âNgh, thatâs great, NeuvieâŠâ Your hand caresses the side of his face, his skin warm where you touched, âSo good at this already.â
The sight of him peering up at you from his spot, how heâs engulfed your every inch (does he not have a gag reflex?), his eyes slowly glazing over, it sends lust coursing through your veins. Heâs so perfect for you.
âDo you think you could move?â Neuvillette hums in agreement, the vibrations stimulating as he starts bobbing his head, obedient as he even tries to occasionally swallow around you when you hit the back of his throat. The wet sounds of slurping only serve to arouse you even further, joined by the moans Neuvillette lets out, as if savouring the taste of you.
âAh! L-Let me pull out Neuvie-?!â At your words, his hands suddenly clamp tightly onto your thighs before he takes you as far as he can, sucking hard as he feels your cock twitch on his tongue.Â
Itâs not long before you cum, spurting your load down his throat that he devours eagerly, moaning at the taste. When he frees you from his mouth with a lewd âpop!â, his tongue lolls out, showing that he really did swallow everything you gave him.
Cupping his face in your hands, you bring him up to lock lips with him, making out fiercely, more tongue than anything.Â
âSo greedy, Neuvie, why didnât you let me pull out?â He just gives you a light ditzy chuckle before ducking back in for another kiss, unable to be separated from you. You drink in all his muffled noises, your hands roving over his body as he indulges himself in your warmth, your everything.Â
And youâre so caring too, taking the time to constantly check in on him as you thoroughly prep him so his first time wouldnât hurt. Your fingers coated in lube, you gingerly work him open as he lets out unrestrained whines. A keen rips from him when the tip of your finger bumps against his prostate, the unfamiliar pleasure a very welcome one.
You treat him so well, how could he not be drunk on your love?
âTell me everything you feel Neuvie,â your tip breaches his rim and it has him seeing stars behind his closed eyes.
âHah! So good-!â Heâs embraced in your arms, his heaving chest against yours as his heart races at the ecstasy youâre granting him. Inch by inch, you sink into his hole. Your skin is sticky against his and he presses himself onto your body, wanting to feel all of you. His breath comes out in pants as you reach deeper into him, your cock filling him up even more.
âLook at you, Neuvie, such a treasure.â Your praise pushes him closer to his tipping point. And when you graze past his prostate, his vision whites out instantly.
âHgnk! Cumming- AH!â Clinging onto you even tighter, his cum splatters onto his skin and yours, unconsciously grinding your cock deeper into him as he rides out his high. He collapses against you, burying into the crook of your neck when he feels you press a kiss to the top of his head and smile.
Neuvillette has always been so used to the indifferent coldness of the open ocean, the unyielding pressure beneath the waves. But youâve changed him, heâs addicted to the warmth youâve shown to him ever since your first fated meeting. (Never mind that you still donât know that the seal you rescued was him, you will understand in due time.)
Now that heâs with you, swapping fur for skin, trading water for land, the happiness he feels when heâs yours is incomparable. Heâs become enamoured with all of you. Heâd give up anything else to stay by your side like this forever. Anything to be with you.
The next morning, Neuvillette is rather lively but you chalk it up to the intimate session last night. It was his first time after all, and youâre just glad that he seemed to enjoy it. But heâs a lot clingier with the way he has to be near you at all times, be it wordlessly tailing you around your home or sitting next to you whenever.
As the both of you cuddle, still too lazy to get started with the day since youâre entangled in each other, he suddenly peels himself off of you. Neuvillette sheds his fur coat, folding it neatly, then presenting it to you.
âI want you to have this,â thereâs a jovial lilt in his voice, almost akin to a sealâs chirp, âDo you accept it?â
âAre you sure? You wear this everywhere and itâs probably important to you, I couldnât take it.â Neuvillette shakes his head, firm in his stance.
âI insist you have it. It is important, but,â he looks into your eyes, in them, a raw frenzied sincerity swirls like whirlpools, âThatâs why I want you to have it.â
âWhen you put it that way,â you take the coat from him, experimentally draping it over yourself, sighing when you realise truly how soft it is.
âThank you Neuvie.â The tender moment is broken when he leans in, ensnaring you in a ravenous kiss. Darting your tongue into his mouth, heâs no longer shy like yesterday, letting out needy whimpers as he deepens the kiss. Â
âYou didnât, hah, finish in me last night, my love,â he huffs during stolen breaths in between kisses, âYou need to. Pleasepleaseplease!â
Heâs dragging you back into your room and soon enough, you have him under you, the fur coat draped on your back as you rut into him. His walls clench down on your shaft, his legs locking around your hips to make sure you donât pull out of him when you climax.Â
A dizzying mixture of mania and desire floods through his system when you suck a hickey onto his pristine skin. He feels your scorching breath fan across his collarbone and when your lips make contact with his skin, he jolts, aware of every pleasurable sensation youâre flooding him with right now.Â
And itâs only fair if he gets you to mark you too. Claiming you as his other half, his destined partner. Sharp teeth pierce and break past your skin as Neuvillette bites down on your shoulder.
He recalls his moments with you: How you miraculously showed up in his time of need. Helping him time and time again. The other seals rowdily congratulating their prince on finding a mate. And finally, how you accepted his pelt.
How you accepted him.
He laps at the bitemark when he detaches, a sense of fulfilment bubbling up in him. A particularly deep grind drags him out of his thoughts, an unabashed moan escaping him.
âThinking about something else, while- ah! -Iâm here fucking you?â
âN-No! Only thinking- ghk?! -of, of you! Only y-you!â Neuvillette blubbers out, sensing every movement of your dick in him.Â
âIâm close! Going to- hnn! -cum!â Hearing your words, his words tumble out of his mouth unintelligibly.
âIn me! Hah- ah! Cum in me! Please, love! In me- need it, need you-!!â
Pressing your hips into his, you finish in him as per his request, his legs looping around you even tighter, forcing you to reach further in him.Â
The stretch drives Neuvillette wild and when he feels the warm bliss spreading in him, his eyes roll into his skull and he throws his head back, letting out an animalistic growl as he cums.Â
"I love you I love you I love you I love you!"
Later, when youâve wiped the both of you down, the cuddling resumes. Cracking an eye open, you see Neuvillette snuggling into the fur coat.
âSee, youâre still attached. I couldnât take it.â
âNo, no, my love. Youâve already taken it.â He flips over to face you, âDo you know the âlegendâ of selkies, my love?â
At the shake of your head, he begins to speak. You listen as he recounts the tale, how important their sealskin is to them, the symbolism of owning a selkieâs precious pelt.Â
His voice is otherworldly, mesmerising, as if it were the gentle lull of a fishing boat on the water.Â
âThe tales usually spell the misery of a selkie who has had their pelt taken forcibly against their will. Iâve seen it happen to my subjects in the past. But I am fortunate.âÂ
âŠHis subjects?
When your eyes open again, (you didn't even know they closed in the first place), a selkie lays before you. His fur is a shade of silvery grey, with some symmetrical markings or patterns on his belly that almost glow. His webbed hand tipped with claws captures yours. His eyes are brine pools and his fangs are trident-sharp when he speaks.
And he says.
âSo take me, and I'll give all of myself up for you.â

Are there laws against the theft of a selkie's coat in your AU? Folktales often talk about men stealing a selkie woman's coat in order to marry her, so now I'm wondering if Crewel ever had to deal with something similar
There are many laws regarding a Selkie's coat. A Selkie's coat is their most prized treasure and it is considered an act of sexual assault to try and forcibly claim the coat of a Selkie. Despite these laws, some try to take a Selkie's coat as their own to control or force the Selkie into something and usually they are brutalized by that same Selkie outside of their seal forms. Selkies are on the higher scale of strength in terms of most species, so actually upsetting ine is a very bad idea unless equally strong.
Unlike traditional Selkies as we know them, the coat can be regrown, but it is a long and arduous process to regrow a Selkie coat and the quality of the fur will be impacted by being regrown. It is a point of pride for Selkie's to have the same coat through their life and should they achieve this, their coat is of high-quality, durable, and silky.
Poachers do exist to try and kill Selkies or take their coats, but it takes quite a bit of skill to take down a Selkie. Usually stealing the coat is the safer option, but most Selkie will hunt down the thief long before they can regrow their coat.
