I haven't been posting much lately since I'm saving my main blog's 1000th post for something special. I'm working on a bunch of pretty big projects right now, plus schoolwork it might take a while to complete, but with any luck it will be worth the wait. Bear with me! In the meantime I will continue making posts here.

#going in the art blog after all

My mom does art on wood stuff, and she has a sale tomorrow. Since she couldn't finish everything on time, she asked me to do one of the clocks for her. (the mechanism isn't installed yet in the pics)

This was a pretty serious exercise in style emulation, since it has to fit in with my mom's stuff. It's still pretty definitely mine though, in comparison. It was fun. Took about 5 hours, though.
