people of tumblr: how would you feel about organising to nominate the hermits charity stream and/or individual hermits for the minecraft category at the streamer awards this year?

it feels overdue at this point - that they haven’t been nominated once - despite how much they contribute to the mc streaming scene, how long hermitcraft has been streaming for (10 years and still going strong), how dedicated the community is and the impact they’ve had on minecraft content as a genre

i’m committed at this point. i need to see them - at least - nominated. i know how powerful this community is on tumblr - i saw how many of you voted in the mcyt sexyman polls last year - so, if you feel like you would also like to see the hermits be nominated for - and maybe win - a streamer award this year make sure to keep an eye out on when QTCinderella announces the day you are allowed to cast yours noms on their website and nominate:

for minecraft streamer of the year: hermit of your choice, personally i will be nominating Pearl because i find her streams enjoyable, her dedication to building as an artform in minecraft is incredible, her humour and her willingness to learn redstone and love of creating games!!

If we want to be strategic, I think we might have to narrow it down to at least 4 hermits to focus on nominating so that the nominations aren’t spread too thin.

for streamed event of the year: hermitcraft charity stream for gamers outreach (or ‘Hermitcraft for Gamers Outreach’ for short) you all know why. it was an astonishing weekend of entertainment and an amazing auction for a brilliant cause that has brightened so many lives. i still can’t quite believe we raised $800k+ <3

im struggling so much with sleep rn. have you gained any knowledge on how to not lose your mind over it? just to simply stay sane?

would be much appreciated but also if you haven't that's so real and I don't blame you, in this together 💪

hahaha we are in this together. high dosage sleep tablets have been my only saviour but come with such side affects, so it’s such a bothersome existence. try to remember it’s not you, and distract yourself with tasks on the days you think you’ll be hit with the bad sleep evil. i tend to ensure i have a minecraft world or some work to do beforehand, if i can’t sleep i work on it:-)
