baby calls first dibs on the lemon tart my wife baked.
memories from before a pandemic.
hopes and dreams. lighting lanterns at shifen old street, taiwan.
exude the ‘tude. omotesando, right next to harajuku. we by comparison were clearly lacking in the trend department.
we were too intimidated to walk in there, but i bet the food is amazing. wish we could speak the language (and that i paid closer attention to my high school japanese classes!)
reckon this would fit right in as a stock generic desktop wallpaper in the next version of windows or something. ;D
a place in tokyo where you can mix your own paints from pigments. every colour under the sun can be yours.
... flamethrower-ed to perfection at raohe night market. i think it was some kind of wagyu steak. should have had this instead of the giant piece of fried chicken that was mostly batter.
grilled to perfection at raohe night market
the man kwok.
wandering the streets of taipei. the 101 stands alone with no other buildings surrounding it that are anywhere near the same height, so it really stands out!
stop off in jiufen, taiwan. famous for inspiring the bathhouse town in spirited away, but apparently that’s not quite true. the locals of course don’t seem to mind.
our bus driver chose to chill in the aircon, rather than join us crazies in the 40 plus degrees celsius heat at yehliu geopark in taiwan.
xiao long baos aplenty at raohe night market.
