Most of the time me and Edie went over to her place to do homework. There was barely any room in my house and she always helped me (or sometimes just did my homework for me).

The others liked to play basketball, while me and June would talk. I usually would tell everything to Edie, but she loved basketball, and I was okay with that

Sasha: (stares dreamily) uh-huh

That’s me and my friends; there’s me and Edith, who we all call Edie, My boyfriend Zach, sitting next to me - we’ve been dating for 4 months now - and the Darke siblings, Tyler and June. Everyone is a senior, except June, who’s a Junior, but she acts the same age as us and is just an all round nice person.

And that, is my little brother Corey. He’s quite outgoing, and that can make him very mischievous, but Corey can be shy around people he doesn't know, making him extremely vulnerable to bullies, but I love him to bits just the same

???: (grunts in annoyance) Sash, you KNOW I’m a vegetarian!

Sasha: Ughhhhh come on Sage, you’ve been vegetarian for about 3 seconds, can you take the god damn lunch and be happy?

That’s my little sister, Sage. She’s only 8 years old but she is probably the most sweet and sensitive person I’ve ever met. Well, maybe after our mother. She died a few months after Sage was born and I feel like I've been her mother role ever since
