Internationally-renowned artstar (and reigning Cheese Queen of Coney Island USA) Nasty Canasta is frequently hailed as a genius of the neo-burlesque scene. A "burlesque queen" (The NY Times), 2nd Runner Up at the 2010 Miss Exotic World Pageant, and "Brooklyn's greatest burlesque star" (The Brooklyn Paper), Nasty is an associate producer with Wasabassco and in 2016 was honored as a "Legend of Nerdlesque" by the International Nerdlesque Festival. Meet the Legend, Pillow! An avid Klingon Language enthusiast, Rennie Faire character, Pirate Lass and fledgling Drag King, Pillow also enjoys notoriety as a bonafide Legend in the world of Neo-Burlesque Nerd-dom. Winning the Miss Exotic World title in 1995, the former bodybuilder (1978 thru the 1990s) had begun a seeming lifetime of ecdysiasy (taking your clothes off onstage) and 'dressing-up-in-costume-when-it's-not-Halloween' (what we called it before the word 'CosPlay' was coined) in San Francisco in 1976 (underage at the time, you understand...) until her untimely retirement in 2000. Now she enjoys travel, performing for new audiences, riding rollercoasters and searching for the BEST Parties at Renaissance Fairs and Sci-Fi Events. THIS WEEKEND... She has been featured by Ohio burlesque, and the top blog I Gave My Body, an international tribute to Women of Color in Burlesque, Onyx Vintage Magazine, Burlesque Bible Magazine, Moxie Dolls Pinups, and Burlesque Magazine, and is a writer for Burlesque Bitch, and guest blog writer for Burlycon. Siren Santina - Knoxville, TN as Founding Father Benjamin Franklin Siren Santina is a burlesque performer, educator, and producer from Knoxville, Tennessee. Miss Santina has traveled throughout the country, performing at burlesque and vaudeville festivals from coast to coast including notable events such as The Colorado Burlesque Festival, The New Orleans Burlesque Festival, The Show Me Burlesque Festival, and The Burlesque Hall of Fame’s “Movers, Shakers, and Innovators” showcase. In 2011 she made it reign at the Southern Fried Burlesque Festival in Atlanta, GA, where she was crowned the first ever Southern Fried Burlesque Queen. In 2012 Miss Santina represented the United States at the World Burlesque Games in London, England. Siren is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Salomé Cabaret Burlesque Revue and enjoys drinking hard liquor and reading about mummies (at the same time). She was first runner up in the Miss Exotic Oregon 2017 competition, and took the "Keepin' It Weird" title at the 2016 Oregon Burlesque Festival. Ona has toured the country with solo projects and with the band Beats Antique, as featured performer, wardrobe maven, tour manager, and johnny on the spot. Besides being a sought after performer, she graces both front and back of house in many productions.
