Things money canāt buy, passion. Deem has that passion and fire, you can see it behind his eyes. Heās one of the most passionate people that I know when it comes to his craft and he brings the fire every night. Dude is always so fucking positive too, es crazy like. He has to make it or something just aināt right. Do yourself a favor and listen to his album, LokeyHii, on Spotify.Ā
My roommate and I headed out the other day to try and get a panning shot for a Sony Images contest. I've only messed around with panning shots while waiting for the light to change at a stop light on passing cars. I gotta say, they're a bigger challenge when you are going for a specific composition and gesture. I really wanted to get the framing dead on but when you're panning with your subject it's hard to get the timing exactly right to get the perfect composition. I was just a tad late in this photo to get the composition square but at that point Danny's leg may not have been fully extended anyway. It was a pretty frigid March evening and it was hard to stay toasty while waiting for trains to come and pass. If Danny was fast enough he was able to run back and we'd get two tries out of one passing train. I really wanted to get the train moving in the same direction as Danny but it was too cold to be choosy. We'll definitely be trying to get the shot again when it warms up.
Concrete and chaos rise up, spiderweb across the land like a giant rash.

My new website, davcervantes.com, is up! There's a fully stocked web store of prints that I frame by hand. I'm offering 25% off to get the ball rolling but if you really dig something and can't swing it still lemme know and we can work something out. I want my photos on your walls not lost on the internet!
