I've lived so much of my life hating. Hating things, people, people's actions, my family, myself... myself especially... So after 2 decades of hatred, both bottled up and exposed, how do I turn the table? How do I start loving things? How do I start loving me? How do I start loving me?

People disgust me...

Well, the lack of people's actions disgusts me. Especially when it comes to a person's well-being. I work at as a front desk clerk at a hotel, and what I came into work this morning to hear really upset me. We have some of the nicest people working here, not keeping in mind their need to gossip about everything they do and do not hear. They are all very friendly and very nice, and always caring, so long as they know you apparently. Two nights ago, rather very early yesterday morning, -I was told- a very drunk/drugged (or both) came in to rent a room for the night with a few men. She was so messed up that she wouldn't walk by herself- she was being held up by 2 of the guys- and she had no idea where she was- she was asking one of our breakfast attendants and one of our night auditors where she was. Upon the group checking out later that day, several condoms were found on the floor of the room. One severely intoxicated female, several atleast moderately sober men... tons of condoms... I don't understand why a wellness check wasn't done on her. Why hadn't our staff called the sherrif's department and requested a wellness check? I don't care if she was "consenting" to her lost nigh of fun, or if she was a prostitute. A drunk/high yes is not a yes. Further more, if she was a prostitute, why weren't the police called just for that alone?? We are not accepting of that kind of behavior here. What is wrong with people that just because they don't know the person being hurt or violated, then its none of their conern... until it turns into the gossip of the day. If people took a few minutes out of their day to check on someone who maybe in a potentially dangerous situation... maybe then this world wouldn't suck so much..
