Neverinyourfavor-rp will always be the one of the most well thought out and best roleplay i’ve been a part of. There isn’t a day that i don’t miss it.
I loved all the people I got to RP with at Never In Your Favor RP, and I hope they’re all doing well!
This RP is officially closed
Hi everyone,
It's been a long and incredible journey for all of our characters, and I've loved having the chance to RP with each and every single one of you. With that said, all good things must come to an end, and this post marks my last official post as an admin of Never In Your Favor.
Our story has come to a close, and while I don't expect you to abruptly end your characters storylines here, there's no longer a need for an organized main RP. Our plot has run its course, and the odds of recruiting new people and trying to surge new life into this plot is unlikely. Our tributes have gone through so much, and I feel most comfortable turning the plot over to all of you now.
I'll still be leaving the OOC blog up so that people who want to keep going can communicate and plot, but I won't be overseeing and approving of things as an admin, nor will I be hounding people for activity, etc. The stories still left to be told as our characters recover from the horrors they've seen is in your hands, for you to play out the way that you want to, with the characters you want involved.
I know I'd personally love to continue playing Sam in the aftermath of the war, and I've spoken to several others who want to continue in an unofficial capacity. Therefore, I invite all of you to keep interacting and to keep your muses alive at your own pace, without the pressure of being monitored by an admin and without a main to tell you what the current plot or event is.
If you have any questions, I'll continue to check the main periodically (I'll be leaving it up as a record of all that occurred during the RP), and those of us whose characters survived the war, I hope you'll all stick around to keep RPing together even without an organized RP to unite us. Thank you so much for helping to make this RP such a success, and farewell.
Please click like to acknowledge that you're aware the main is no longer active and that the official events of Never In Your Favor RP have concluded.

Plot - The Trial and the Assassination
With the tributes and victors still in uproar about the decision to hold another Hunger Games, behind the scenes plotting has been happening. However, the day of President Snow’s trial has arrived, and the Hunger Games survivors haven’t reached any sort of plan to stop President Coin’s announcement.
However, as they wait for the verdict of death that inevitably awaits President Snow, an arrow flies from the crowd - one that they know is from the bow of Katniss Everdeen. Expecting the arrow to fly through President Snow, gasps of shock emerge when the arrow in fact hits President Coin instead. Amidst the chaos, President Snow also dies on stage, laughing and choking on his own blood, finally dying of whatever disease he’s been suffering from as he sees Katniss’s final act of justice.
In the aftermath, Katniss is taken into custody and questioned. However, after a few hours, it seems that her actions have been written off as those of a madwoman who didn’t know what she was doing. Only the tributes know the truth - that this was a calculated move, a desperate ploy to stop the rebel government from the same sort of tyrannical reign that Snow had over Panem for as long as they can remember.
How your tributes choose to deal with the aftermath of this is up to you. Some could be called in for questioning about whether they had any knowledge of this event; some may choose to stay in the Capitol and help the rebel military put together a more stable, democratic government, and some may choose to go home and start putting the pieces of their life together. The war is finally over, and Panem will slowly but surely become a more suitable place to live, with more travel between Districts possible, and most importantly with no Hunger Games.
Congratulations on making it this far, everyone! Your tributes have come a long way, and now they can finally start to put the traumatic events they’ve experienced behind them. I’ll be making one last follow-up post officially closing the RP, but for now, I just want to leave this post with a thank you to everyone who has stuck it out and seen the rebellion through. You’re all amazing, and as usual, please click like to let me know you've read this message.

Plot - The Council
It's been several days since rebels seized the Capitol, and now that the war has been done, all that's left is for the winners to decide what happens now. The trial of President Snow awaits, but the first step is to decide what happens with the other Capitol officials that are currently being held prisoner.
In a private council hosted by President Coin, tributes and victors alike are given the first opportunity to discuss their fate. After much debate, it seems that no suitable agreement can be reached. And then President Coin pulls out the final suggestion - that they hold one final Hunger Games, for the children of Capitol officials to compete in.
The suggestion is met with uproar, but ultimately, enough tributes and former victors vote for the plan for it to be passed into action. President Coin plans to make the announcement to the public later this week at President Snow's trial, but in the meantime, the other tributes and victors have much to say on the matter.
Note: Your tribute may vote for whichever alternative they think is appropriate. Starters made this week should reflect their opinions on whether they approve of another Hunger Games to punish the Capitol or not. You'll have until approximately Wednesday to discuss this issue before the announcement of the trial is posted.
If you have any questions, please message the main. Otherwise, please click like to let me know you've read this message.

I just wanted to say that this roleplay is INCREDIBLE. I've watched it for a month now and it's sad to see it ending soon, but kudos to you for having the most successful Glee/Hunger Games roleplay I've ever seen on Tumblr. It's been a joy to read all of this time.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate the feedback. We've loved this RP and this storyline, and just because the RP's main will be closing doesn't mean the character's stories will be ending! We hope that you'll still follow the characters who do decide to keep RPing their recovery from the war in an unofficial capacity. Never In Your Favor has been an incredible journey for everyone involved, and we're looking forward to our tributes finally getting to have some semblance of a normal life now that the war has ended!

My favorite pair is the Samchel at Never In Your Favor RP and I really hope they keep going when the RP ends. I’d love to see how Sam and Rachel cope with the aftermath of the war ending.
Plot - The Massacre
The days of wandering the street towards the center of the Capitol are over. Now, all of our tributes are within seeing distance of President Snow's mansion, a gruesome sight is before them. All of the evacuated citizens of the Capitol, children in particular, are on the lawn of the mansion as bombs drop on the stairs of the mansion, killing many of the evacuated citizens instantly.
The rebels are here in full force, and several tributes rush forward to help the wounded...only for a second bomb to drop. The blast kills many more citizens instantly, including Kitty Wilde and Sugar Motta. Other tributes watch on helplessly as rebel troops emerge from the streets and seize the Capitol once and for all.
A meeting will be held in two days time with President Coin and other rebel leaders, but until then, our tributes have been placed into a hospital wing in an undamaged wing of President Snow's mansion. The president himself is on house arrest in his bedroom, and our tributes can now celebrate their victory and start to heal.
The RP only has two more major events left: the meeting of victors, tributes, and rebel leaders to decide what to do with Capitol citizens, and the trial of President Snow. If you have any questions, please contact the main. Otherwise, please click like to let me know you've read this message.

The following players have exceeded the 3 day activity limit:
Blaine Anderson
Finn Hudson
Kurt Hummel
Santana Lopez
You have 24 hours to contact the main or to start posting again before your character becomes an NPC and is a candidate to be killed in the next stages of the rebellion.
RP Closing
As you've all noticed, activity is almost non-existent at this point in the RP. Our characters are extremely close to the end of the rebellion and the death of the president, so I won't be officially closing the main yet, but this is just an announcement to let you know that I'm leaving for a ten-day trip abroad on June 12, and the RP will be shut down officially a few days prior to that.
That means that as of right now, Never in Your Favor has approximately two weeks of life left. I won't be accepting any new applications after this point in time. If you're interested in giving your character closure with any of the other members of the RP, I suggest you wrap that up in the time before the story ends.
Thank you for an amazing RP experience, and I look forward to an amazing last two weeks before this journey comes to an end.
Please click like to let me know you've read this message and are aware the RP will be closing soon.

Plot - The Final Stretch
Commotion in the streets increases, and with it comes the news of why: the rebels have landed in the Capitol, and they are storming the President's Mansion. Chaos reigns supreme in the street as citizens are evacuated from their homes, with the rebels hot on their tails.
Now is the time for our tributes to escape from their safe house. With so many people in the streets already, they have more hope of blending in and approaching the president's mansion unnoticed. The next few days will be the tributes moving forward, exercising caution as they draw close to the president's mansion.
In the streets, the tributes are on high alert. They're in constant fear of being recognized by those around them, and many scuffles are happening as they move forward. Those who make it far enough to see Snow's home up close will catch a glimpse of children rounded up on the lawn of the mansion for their own safety, but no one knows what the next few days may hold.
On either Wednesday or Thursday, another update will be posted announcing what happens once all tributes reach the outside of the mansion. Please don't have your tributes be able to see the mansion until Wednesday; the first days of this plot should be spent working their way through the crowd,
If you have any questions, please message the main or Sam's account. Otherwise, please click like to let me know you've read this message.

Plot: The Escape
After several stressful days maneuvering through the mutt-infested Capitol underground, tributes finally see their opening. However, as they maneuver the final stretch of the sewers, a fight breaks out between the rebels and the lizard mutts.
Several rebels are injured, and Commandor Paylor falls in the fight, but it seems like the rest will all be able to climb to safety when at the last minute a swarm of mutts gets in their way. Sacrifices must be made for the rebel cause, and in order to ensure his comrades get to safety, Sebastian Smythe instructs his friends to go forward as he throws himself to the mutts as a distraction.
The screams of agony are horrible, but his mission is accomplished - the rest of the rebels are able to emerge into the sunlight of the Capitol streets, and President Snow's mansion is now just a couple of blocks away from them. In desperate need of food and rest, Finnick leads the rebels to a safehouse, where a woman with the face of a tiger hides them in a storage room filled with fur coats and cooks them food to help them recuperate. They spend their days locked in the back room while the store-owner conducts business, but no one is ready to move on yet anyway after the horrors they've seen in the sewers.
The next three days will be spent planning. Rebels will try to gain their bearings and mourn the losses of Hunter, Bree, Sebastian, and Commandor Paylor before they move on to the final obstacle: Snow's Mansion.
Another update will be posted sometime this weekend, announcing that the rebels have moved onto the streets again. For now, act as if all rebels are together in the room inside of the safehouse. In terms of injuries, you're allowed creative license with what kind of damage you think your character sustained in the battle against the mutts.
If you have any questions, please message the main or Sam's account for clarification. Otherwise, please click like on this post to let me know you have read it.

Death Update
Today, as tributes run for their lives, they find a control room where they can lock themselves in and rest for a bit. However, as the last tribute makes to enter through the door, something grabs them from behind and pulls them back in to the sewers.
Several tributes cry out and try to rescue their fallen companion, wanting to go back out and fight the oncoming ranks of mutts, but in the end they must close the doors and save as many people as they can.
Still, those closest to the door cringe as it's locked, hearing screams of anguish and hearing the tearing sounds of Hunter Clarington being ripped limb from limb by the lizard mutts.
Rest in peace, Hunter. The odds were never in your favor.
Please click like on this post to let me know you are aware of Hunter's death.
-Admin Bonnie
Plot: The Underground
After several confusing days of trying to make their way past Capitol guards and pods, it seems the tributes have reached the end of the road. With only a dead end and certain death ahead of them, they're forced to take a different route - into the sewers.
Travelling by the dead of night, tributes feel safer in the Capitol underground than they've felt in days - until they start to hear the noises. For the next three days, tributes will be in a fight for their lifes against human-sized lizard mutts (similar to those found in Mockingjay).
This plot goes into effect immediately. Therefore, consider all tributes to be on the run together. They may take brief reprieves to eat from the canned food supplies they found in Capitol apartments, they can stop to look at the holographic map that was given to their leader Commander Paylor, and they may try to sleep in secluded control rooms underground, but tributes' rest and relaxation will be minimal during this time period.
Please not that not all NPCs will survive the next three days. There will be daily updates about the injury/alive status of the forces inside of the Capitol.
Tributes should behave as if the following NPCs are among their ranks, similar to the events in Mockinjay (* indicates a differenatiation from the book):
Katniss Everdeen
Peeta Mellark
Finnick Odair
Johanna Mason
If you have any questions, please message me either on the main or on Sam's account. Otherwise, please click like to let me know you've read this post and are aware of the status update.
May the odds be ever in your favor!

Hi guys!
I know this is a little bit late this week, but activity is seriously down, and with our tributes so close to President Snow's mansion and the end of the rebellion, things really need to pick back up for the storyline to progress. Therefore, I'm assigning spam partners again, and would really like to see you all take this chance to find out how characters are feeling about being trapped in the Capitol with little to defend themselves and with no turning back.
Remember that you’re welcome to send spam to anyone in the RP, but you’re required to send spam to your partner.
For this week, partners are as follows:
Tina → Blaine
Sam → Santana
Rachel → Sam
Puck → Ryder
Santana → Tina
Kurt → Rachel
Blaine → Puck
Ryder →Kurt
We currently have 2 players on hiatus, Finn and Marley, so when these two return they will send spam to each other until new partners are assigned.
Please click like to let me know you’ve seen this message, and happy spamming!

The admins at Never In Your Favor (neverinyourfavor-rp) are absolutely flawless. They managed to create and maintain a fantastic universe for all their RPers and the group really changed my life and opened my eyes to how amazing an RP can be when everything just sort of clicks together. So, thank you “Paige” and “Bonnie”!
