Written and directed by Bola Omodara, “Dream Sequence” is a series of science fiction short films based on the question, “What is reality?”
Each film presents a different scenario based on the aforementioned question.
Part one, “Crystal’s Ball,” revolves around Diedre and Crystal, old friends meeting to catch up after the pandemic has separated them. Amidst their conversation we find out a lot more has changed than one could imagine.

We just discovered that another group are trying to launch a production company with the name Broken English, a name that we’ve had since 2008. Last we checked, unfortunately, it’s 2020. Times may have changed in a lot of ways in the world, but I’m fairly certain that intellectual property and brand recognition haven’t all that much in North America. Maybe I’m wrong. We certainly don’t believe so. Hugo and Bola discuss the notion the fact that they discovered the brand is being infringed upon as well as COVID-19’s impact on the film industry and two recent hit documentaries, “The Last Dance” and “Filthy Rich.” Check out brokenenglishfilms.com and support the indie film company you’re about to fall in love with, possibly… Maybe? @brokenenglish on Instagram and @brokenenglish on Twitter.

I wish he were breaking in through the skylight, would have made for a much more exciting caption. I think he was just doing maintenance. Take from it what you will.

Arguably the coolest Starbucks I've ever visited. But this feels excessive. It's a fast food breakfast sandwich, don't know that I need the tray.
That green lighting is tax money well spent, and I'm not being sarcastic.
