not sure if anyone’s mentioned this yet but in the last episode, Van and Tai talk about rigging the cards and Van mentions that she rigged it once so that Crystal got the shit bucket duty.

This means Crystal got the queen card and not long after she literally died while on shit bucket duty… Literally everyone who gets the queen card dies at some point (nat got it in s2 and died in the adult timeline) so it wouldn’t surprise me if we see Lottie getting the queen card at some point during season 4.

Jason's coming home isn't a smooth affair. It's surreal and destructive and pulsing grief. He doesn't know how to tell Bruce there's no one alive he loves more. Because he does love him. He wouldn't be so dissapointed in him if he didn't.

his love has TEETH now, and Jason is too young and full of sadness to tame them. So he has to show It, in other ways.

Sometimes, it means staring down a brickhouse kryptonian, nervously toying with his fingers over the breakfast table, and pulling out his most vile threats.

Otherwise, it's allowing Bruce's hand to run through Jason's curls, touch cold like a father, with all the love Jason doesn't know. It's accepting book recommendations and silent lunches and resting his head on Bruce's lap.

"Would you do it again?"

"Do what?"

"Raise me. If you had a choice, would you choose me all over again?"

"Yes," Bruce responds after a pause, resolve like molten steel, " There's no me without you. If I could live a thousand lives, I'd choose you in every single one."

And Jason's heart bleeds quietly. He doesn't have to say he'd choose bruce, too. Because he already did.

I love how every time somebody betrays Jerome they’re called “Judas”, when Jerome finds out Theo betrays him, he calls him Judas, when Scarecrow reveals that Jerome knew Oswald betrayed him, he’s also called Judas. Whether or not it’s international, I think it’s interesting how Jerome is paralleled to Jesus. When Jerome dies, he says that he’s more than a man, and that he’s an idea, and his comparison to Jesus cements that at some level, Jerome truly did believe that he was a messiah.

I think it’s also worth noting that Jerome has the name of a saint lol
