A Large Chinese Jade Figure of a Recumbent Horse.
Carved from a substantial piece of pale green jade with russet inclusions, the figure depicts a horse resting with its legs folded beneath its body and its head gracefully turned back over its flank. The mane is finely incised with flowing lines, while the tail curves neatly along the body.
