EYE'EM Photo Competition for New Melbourne
(Guest post: by Misho Baranovic, Melbourne Australia)
ALRIGHT EVERYBODY, LET’S HAVE SOME FUN.
The Eye’Em crew have given over their live stream and blog to hold a quick fire photo competition to celebrate my New Melbourne: Mobile Street Photography Exhibition. In keeping with the exhibition title, the theme of the competition is “New City”.
I’m looking for photographs that show the beauty, movement and mess of a modern metropolis. Please upload your photos to the Eye’Em live stream (app or online) and tag them #NewCity. There will be two rounds of judging, first the community, through comments and votes, will choose the top 10 images. The top 10 will be sent to a jury of four, who will vote to select the winner.
New Melbourne Update - Just finished up the test prints with Matt Irwin. I’m very happy and excited! 10 days to go! #Melbourne #iphoneography #newmelbourne @mattirwinphotog
New Melbourne Update - poster is ready and up at the Matt Irwin Gallery! 11 days to go!
Misho Baranovic captures fleeting moments and uncovers hidden spaces in his upcoming exhibition of Melbourne street photography—with a twist. The exhibition title, New Melbourne, alludes to the novel medium of photography used for the show, with all photos shot and processed on the iPhone.
