so @taylorswift played my favorite song of all time last night- haunted!!!👻💜🫶🏽
In 2011, I saw Taylor and saw Haunted live for the first time. I made a sign requesting T-Party and made sure to include my favorite song in the center lol! In 2015, when I got invited to Loft 89, I got to tell Taylor how much the song Haunted means to me. I requested that she play it as a surprise song on tour, and she joked that it wasn’t very popular but she would keep it in mind! I spent years reminding Taylor of my love for the song through concert fits, Tumblr posts, DMs, Twitter posts, Instagram stories, etc. I tracked down all of the merch like the shirt, litho, necklace, etc. I wanted her to know how much love I have for this vulnerable and relatable song, especially after all this time. In London, after she saw me holding up our photo together, when she came back around, I had a message on the other side of the photo saying, “Haunted in NOLA?" I like to think this had some sort of influence! Not sure if she remembered me requesting it or if it was just the plan for tonight, but I’m extremely grateful either way. I love you always, Taylor. Thank you💜
