I know at this point you must have noticed my absence, and the radio silence, and I want to begin by saying how sorry I am for that, but that I have been sick a lot lately, and it's knocked me out for quite a bit. All of that to say, I have made the unfortunate decision to shut down newyorkshq for the time being. I say for the time being because there is a chance that I might find myself revamping and re-opening in the new year, but right now I cannot commit to admining here anymore. I am so incredibly sorry and I want to thank you all for those of you that have joined, and stuck around.

do we need to fill a skeleton?

technically, yes ! but, there's an open skeleton, with no limits on how many muses can use it, called New York State of Mind that has no set plot, there is nothing required of it other than currently, they are a new york resident! it allows for you to bring your own fully original character!

What are some occupations you'd like to see?

gosh, what a good question! I would personally love to see some medical professionals (nurses, doctors, emts, hospital staff in general!) I'd love to see receptionists and secretaries, but also journalists, writers, and broadway performers! teachers would be lovely, professors, and tattoo artists, I'd really love to see a late night host and an author, a nanny and a ballerina!

What is your favorite part of NYC?

in the group, or actual new york? in the group? I love the muses, plain and simple, and I love seeing our members bring their muses to life. in actual new york? I am a theater kid and so anything involving broadway has my heart, but new yorks food scene is incredible! i also think it's called the center of the universe for a reason, it is a hub for culture, for art, for everything.

How active is the dash?

I'd say it's in the middle! people are posting at least once a day and if they're not, there's always people willing to plot in the discord to get things going! However, we know that people work/have school/their lives! activity is so important to an rp, but also so are dedicated members!
